Rough Country 2 Quick Disconnect Winch Power Cable | 24 FT - RS108 , Black

In the past, I have cut my own heavy gauge wiring and have used a hammer crimp for the connectors. But I've been really busy and pressed for time, and this kit wasn't that much more than buying all of the parts. I have a long bed F-150 and I wanted to mount the winch to the tow hitch at the back, so I Unwound a giant roll of heavy conduit in my driveway and worked the positive and negative wires into it. After using zip ties every few inches, I ran the assembly up through holes in my frame to the engine bay and I ended up having no more than 2 ft extra slack which I just tied off in a loop real quickly. The Anderson connectors are of a high quality as is the wire itself. I'm able to run a big Hefty 10K winch efficiently despite the distance from the battery. I highly recommend this kit. Run from the back to the front when you install it and you'll be able to just Loop the slack and circles and zip tie somewhere near the firewall.

The cables work great, but my only complaint is that the black rubber cover for the connection plug will not stay in place. It come loose as soon as you start driving.

Installing the pigtail end of the plug was simple and done easily. The long end, for terminating on the battery, was a bit harder to do but only because you have to find a route under the truck from the trailer hitch to the battery without the cables resting anywhere they shouldn't such as over the driveshaft or draped over a part of the hot exhaust system. Pulling 25' of wire under a truck isn't necessarily easy or simple to begin with but the insulation on this makes it easier than it could be.

I used this yesterday 3/2/25. I have a winch on the back bumper of my lete fathers 1995 Nissan pickup. Im Left - Handed only. so I use it to pull trees to the burn pile. It works great. Highly recomand it to any one with a winch handicaped or not.

Bought this 24ft quick disconnect to wire my tail hitch winch. Fits perfect on my 1500 ram running from the left side and down along the frame and tucks up under the undercarriage spare tire, no cutting or splicing needed (for me at least). Based on where I placed my kill switch and my battery, the positive end came out about an extra foot, but otherwise looks fantastic. Disconnect plugs are sturdy and easy to connect. I give this product 5 stars, great work rough country, now we’ll see how it holds up!
