These ice packs are larger than expected and are made very well. They fold in half to be placed in the freezer, saving space for other food items. Because of their size, they are a bit heavier than a normal ice pack. They remain flexible even though they are very cold. Big plus! I used these post surgery and found them to be extremely cold, and held a good cold temperature for well over an hour or two. I would highly recommend these ice packs!

I can't tell you how much I love these ice packs!! They get really cold and stay cold, unlike some others. Also, I have ordered larger ones and know that they're so durable and last so long. I'm recovering from knee replacement surgery and these just go around my knee perfectly and really have helped my recovery.

Very handy size, seems to be of good quality. I have this and the next size down and they work for most problem areas. Reasonably quick freeze time. I can not speak to longevity so I give it 4 stars.

Very pleased with this purchase. Good quality and flexible to fit to your needed area. Stays cold a LONG time and gets cold in the freezer quickly! Folding it in half or using flat works great to help my back pain. I also love it rolled it up to create a rounded ice pack in the crook of my neck for my neck pain while sitting in a chair. Works great! Back ice packs from my chiropractor leaked and fell apart, but this ice pack is sturdy and reliable and has the flexibility I like. My physical therapist recommended this ice pack. It freezes up rather quickly but stays cold for a good while. Because it's thin, it fits well in a pillow case. It's large enough to cover my hip and lower back.

Really good for shoulder injury and post-surgery recovery! Provides long-lasting cooling and covers a broad area. You don't have to put it exactly in place like smaller packs. I wrapped it one layer in a towel and was also wearing a shirt. It needs to be covered up or it will condense frost on the outside. Really glad that I got it.

Size is perfect for the purpose it was purchased. Serves the purpose and works as expected. One observation is that the the pad is partitioned in to three segments. But it’s not a firm partition. The gel does not seem to get equally spread.

I ordered these ice/heat pads in preparation for an upcoming hip surgery. Although I have not used them yet for this particular reason, I have tried them out to relieve the discomfort I have now. These are really nice to use. They stay in place and cover a large area. This is important for me post-op. They remained cold for quite some time, however, I did not keep track of the actual time. They lie flat on a freezer shelf making it easy to use. They can be stacked in the freezer one on top of the other. I purchased one, then liked it so much, I ordered a second one. The fabric is very sturdy so I am anticipating good, long time use of them. I hope this is useful for you.

These packs are quite thick and have very good heat retention.
