Good story, great characters
I really liked the characters in this story. The singer especially was very multilayered. We didn't get to know the child very well though. In some scenes, the author even forgot to tell us how the child was reacting, as if he were a prop instead of a person. Yet some detailed stories of victims were briefly used to help describe certain disasters. So I was a bit disappointed by the former and pleased with the latter, as I think Ms Druga's writing strengths are character development and her wild imagination of 'destroy the world' scenarios.SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERSThere was a lot of fascinating detail of the various disasters. I would have liked to have a few plot holes filled, such as: no foreign aid arrived? Frankly impossible because if nothing else some other countries would have tried to colonize or even just salvage supplies. That scenario could have just been just a mention instead of 'no one ever came'.These are all just minor complaints though. I really enjoyed the book and definitely recommend it.

I want more
Jacqueline Druga's stories are always told well, engrossing and well thought out. And they always leave me wanting more. This seems like it should be the beginning of a series, but I know it's not.All the plotlines that were introduced were tied off, mostly - some better than others - but there's lots of room to develop the story further. There are some typos and evidence of lackluster editing throughout, and they are numerous enough to break the readers immersion, but it's not absolutely terrible.Overall, a 4. Better editing and a longer story would've gotten a 5.

Great read
It got my attention from the beginning. There were lot's of misspelling but I still read it cause it was really good. The constant action and seeing how she portrayed whether humans worked together or not. Hope this is a series. Glad it's on Kindle Unlimited.

Apocalypse story telling at its finest.
Ms. Druga has a way of telling a story where you really connect with her characters. They are so real and believable. You cheer for them, and cry for them. They prevail through great adver

Excellent end of the world tale
I love Jacqueline Druga's books. An end of the world tale without zombies or evil-doers was a welcome change. But the many typos, grammar errors, and wrong word choices stopped me from giving a 5 star review. If I was reviewing on characters and plot alone, it would be 10 stars.

Mesmerizing story
This book is an exciting read! It kept you “turning the pages” to see what is happening next. The only negative review I’d give is there are several typo errors, so that’s why I gave only 4 stars. Other than that - it’s a good story!

Okay read
Interesting take on the ramifications of multiple asteroid hits on the earth.Enjoyed the aging rock star Mindy Snow 's storyline. Although, I wish that she had survived her injuries, it was gratifying that she went from a shallow to a well meaning human being.

Easy reading, but still engaging
The authors brings the characters to life in this fast moving book that describes the end of the world as we know it. While a bit unrealistic it was still a fun book to read.

Good idea but spoiled by spelling and structure
The premise for this book was great and the characters appeared to be interesting and engaging. But it's a self published book don't get me wrong some of my favourite books I've read this year are self published. What lets this down is spelling things such as 'attacked' to his backpack instead of attached. One of two I could live with but it's littered with examples like this a shame as a decent edit would fix it. The other thing is the speech in not always sure who is saying what to who. Shame as I had to give up when the story is a good one.

Goodish Read
Well told if a bit confusing separating similar names, my issue. A good read but these stories are becoming formulaic. Disaster followed by following a family who are separated and it’s their journey. The devastation and recovery seem to be secondary. I feel it is too limited but worth the read.

Compelling easy read
Another apocalyptic book with meteors, earthquakes and tsunamis! The main storyline is people trying to find their families. Pretty usual really. Been done before, but nonetheless a nice read. A few spelling mistakes, though!
