Great organization
I purchased the two Pako Floss Organizers to deal with a cross stitch project having 89 colors. I'm so pleased with the ability to keep the floss close at hand, ability to pull one ply of floss out of sorter and not have to deal with bags or bobbins while stitching. I cut the floss into lengths that I want to work with and loaded it on the pegs. I ordered the bobbin stickers with floss numbers on them and put those on the boxes to identify the colors as opposed to the symbols. I now have five of these organizers loaded up for 3 different projects.

Wonderful tool for your current project
I use this tool to organize thread especially if I am working from a kit. It is transportable. It is MUCH more sturdy than the cardboard "organizer" that comes in a kit. AND I haven't had any trouble with floss getting tangled like I did with cardboard inserts that came with a kit. I have had several friends ask for purchasing information when they have seen how great it is.

Perfect for organizing floss for a large project
I bought this organizer for a large full coverage project. It holds the floss nicely. The code cards are a little small but I was able to use them.

Make sure you want to buy before placing your order - $6 fee to return the 2 I bought
These are a nice idea but lack full design. When I'm not stitching, floss is not protected from dust, spills, sun exposure, etc. It'd be a better design if it folded into a protective zippered case. I tried putting them in a tote, a large Ziplock bag, and even a clean plastic shopping bag - but the threads tangled with each try. Also, for large full coverage cross-stitch projects, I needed 2 (and that's just for the more common colors) and it would take forever to set up the tiny symbol sheets - plus there's no room to write the DMC # let alone any other type of floss identifier so at the end of the project, I'd have to look up all of the symbols to find the right thread maker/# to get them back into my main floss storage system. It'd be better if the floss cards were on a letter-sized perforated sheet that could be put through a printer. Again, nice idea - needs design improvements.

Useful
I am finding this item useful for keeping track of the floss for a large project. I do find it a little difficult keeping the floss strands separated when fully loaded.

Pako the best designed floss organizer.
I tried Annie’s Keepers but I prefer Pako. Easy to pull one floss out without tangling the rest. The symbols are right above the floss. Takes less time to find the correct floss color. Compact and holds a full 50 colors. A project slide for Annie’s Keepers only hold 16.

Brilliant!
I have been cross stitching on and off for 20 years and finally broke down and bought this. What was I waiting for?!?! It's fabulous! Works perfectly - holds the floss and needles neatly and compactly. I'm startling a 100-color fractal piece and may very well order a second one so all of my floss will be readily available. Though not intended to be so, the plastic it comes in actually makes a decent "case" for taking along. I coil the floss behind the organizer then shut the plastic and off I go.

Helps tame the chaos of a complicated project!
Larger than it looks in the picture. Room for 50 colors. Comes with 10 refill write-on "symbol strips" which I promptly copied while they were blank so I have refills forever. Lightweight plastic and dense foam. Needles stick in and stay well! Is already making a complicated project easier...and it just arrived yesterday! I wish it had a case with it to keep it clean in storage, but a large zip-loc is doing the job for now. Exactly what I needed.

Secure your threads in order!
You get what you pay for. Although there are other makes, this is the sturdy one from a well known maker. It secures your threads in place and there is generally enough spaces for a medium to large project. Sufficient inserts to add the symbols for the threads too.

Sehr wichtig beim Sticken

Molto utile. La consiglio veramente
Grazie Amazon. Il pacco è arrivato nel giorno stabilito. E molto utile per chi ama ricamare, e avere tutti i filli in ordine. E molto originale, e così come nella foto. La consiglio.
