True MEAT for the WELL SEASONED biblical scholar be s/he layperson or college educated in God's Holy Word. TEN stars if possible
Jay P. Green comes through AGAIN (I say again because he also translated his own full Bible version "The Literal Translation [of the Bible] - the LTV) in what should be described with splendid and stunning verbal fireworks of accolades! The only drawbacks that I can find so far are that the print is VERY small yet the book is huge and it "literally" (pun) weighs a few pounds. It could not be done any other way than this, unless it was broken up into volumes (which would increase their printing costs and shelf space needed to hold this precious resource). If it is needed by you, grabbing a magnifying glass to read this is WELL WORTH the slight hassle. Nonetheless, the obvious and tedious long and many hours of work put into this Bible stand out phenomenally. The quality that this tool provides is due full well deserves ten stars out of five (if that were possible), because this is a work of etymological brilliance. This is already one of my MOST FAVORITE Bible study aides because I used to have an LTV - but I passed on to my daughter. So I KNOW that this Bible will grow more and more on me. I've already got another copy coming in the mail that I am going to give to my pastor to aide him in his weekly sermon and personal Bible studies. The way that the LITERAL TRANSLATION reads is amazing! As far as the Greek translation: the wording is even left in it's original order, which sets it TRUE to the mark of being LITERAL. Therefore, in my opinion, Jay P. Green will have NO WORRIES when he faces God Almighty about how that he expressl translated and had put into print - "God's Holy Word" - because J. P. Green kept it pure and therefore TRUE. One can't go wrong with this purchase if they are getting it for themself or for someone else that GETS INTO THE MEAT OF THE WORD and desires to hold and SEE The Holy Word of God Jehovah written out in fully accurate truth. This Bible is NOT for those newly accepted into Christ's body - not by a lonnnnnnnnng shot. It is DEFINITELY for a more seasoned student in God's Word. *2 Timothy 2:15 (Word for word translated from the Greek states this:) those hearing. Earnestly (study) yourself approved to show to God a workman unashamed, rightly dividing the word (verse 16) of truth. (Then verse 16 continues). *Please see the highlighted text in photo. Then Green's "Literal Translation Version (LTV) of the Bible" translates it out as this: 2 Timothy 2:15 Earnestly study to show yourself approved to God, a workman unashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. All together... 1. I'd buy it again if I gave this one away. 2. It is an awesome copy of God's divinely inspired and thus Holy Word of the Truth that sets us free. 3. Once you get it you'll have a hard time putting it back down after you hold it Lovingly and tightly and when you have it opened up and are reading it. Trust me brother/sister in Christ (or non-believer)... I'm speaking from experience; I crave and need more time alone with God and this - His tool.

Deep dive
I love it, albeit the writing is small. I have excellent up close vision so Iโm able to read it without a problem, however if you donโt see up close well you will definitely need magnification. I will use this to compare word depth and meaning, making the most out of my bible study. I bought a Hebrew English lexicon to go with it. The book itself is nice sized for studying.

Great buy
This will help me with my bible study for sure. The book is very big and heavy though which I don't really mind since i'll only use it at home.

get a page reader with it
I haven't really had time to use this much yet as I just received it. Thankfully I read the reviews before I ordered it. As I was warned the text is extremely small as you can imagine as it fits 4 bibles (Hebrew, Greek, English, + the literal translation by green on the side) so you can imagine how tiny to fit this all in one volume. I ordered a page reader hand magnifier which arrived together with the Bible and although that is a little bit bothersome, it all works out and with just a little use and it is getting less bothersome already.otherwise it functions great for it's purpose.

Print quality is poor . Forget the magnifying option. The magnifed image is coarse.
I thought it wonderful until i saw it is impossible for me to see the script even with a magnifying glass as the quality of the print is very bad. If your good enough that this is light reading then buy it and skim. Me? It looks nice on my bookshelf but not much use. I do love it though as it IS the word.

Love love love
Small font but readable. I don't know what else to say other than this was a really good purchase for me. I've been wanting to study more, dissect, break down, and really learn the Word. This has been great for that. This is more for those who are mature or are really searching for the meaning of scripture. Beautiful book. Very well put together.

No second book? - very large bible!
This is definitely a bible, will help me alot in my studies, its pretty small in the word department, but that is to be expected as the book is already so large and there is so much information packed in. I would rate it 5/5 however the description says its supposed to come with a second book, and I only received the bible. It's what I mainly wanted, however I do wish I was sent what the description says. " 2 Hardcover Titles 1) The Interlinear Hebrew-Greek-English Bible: Measure 11.25 x 9 x 2.25 (inches); 976 pages; Wt 5 lbs. 2) The New Evidence That Demands a Verdict by Josh McDowell: Measure 9.5 x 6 x 2 (inches); 760 Pages; Wt. 8 lbs; "

A obra รฉ uma excelente fonte de pesquisa. As letras sรฃo pequenas, mas acredito que se fossem maiores aumentaria muito em volume. No mais, goste!

Wow!!!!
I truly believe this is the closest I will ever get to reading the word as it was originally written, It is just incredible!!!! Ok so I have around 20 bibles because I've been searching for the most accurate... the Bible I had previous to this was a wycliffes bible which if you don't know predates the King james and is written in middle English which at 1st is very difficult to unserstand but clearly God wanted me to read that 1st because boy oh boy this is next level, I'd like to point out I'm reading the original translation that is under the hebrew and greek not the 2nd translation in the colums because that is kind of diluted and you really won't realise if you don't read both which I have a few times to help translate a particularly difficult section which then blows my mind how I didn't see the connection due to the words being mixed up but trust me once you find the flow of how the words join it starts to come alive!!! The sentences are much like middle English but imagine if you will subtitles on the tv that aren't in English and you hear them say a name but the place in the sentences doesn't line up with the speech this is how the words are on the page so slow down and read it as if it may need reordering and then it will just start to make sense and you won't even think about it, You definitely need to get the strongs expanded concordence because this also adds another deeper layer... the Hebrew language only has 22 letters and so a lot of their words hold many different meanings which the greeks never knew about and so things got translated how they think and to be fair they're very close but some words have many many different meanings depending on the situation and the concordance tells you exactly what each word means in each passage and how it should be translated, I included a picture of it at the end. Also if you do get the concordance you will inevitably find a word in greek and think "this doesnt match" thats because even though you're reading a translation from greek they retain the hebrew root words so you need to find that same number in the hebrew section, This Bible unfortunately doesn't include the apocryphal texts I have noticed people mentioning how small the print size is and yes it is very small, I have always had good eyesight up close but you may need a magnifying glass to read it. It's a nice big bible and has the best smelling pages I've ever smelt ๐๐ If you can afford it then go for it with the concordance it will be worth it ๐
