Great knife
Bought this one to replace one I had for several years before it “disappeared “. Easy to carry and use, excellent design and construction. No better pocketknife anywhere, IMHO.

Benchmade sheep's foot mini Griptilian
This is one of my favorite Benchmade knives. Purchasing will always depend on you specific needs and wants, but this is my go to little knife that can do more than it should. I prefer this version to the G-10, most do not. I feel this is very grippy and I feel comfortable taking this out in front of people and they will not overreact, this this looks and feels like a tool. I have bought like 4 of these and have given them as gifts to friends and family. I also like that if you wanna upgrade you easily buy after market scales, but I like the classic look cause it’s a tool. I highly recommend this knife especially if you are gonna beat it up, then throw it in your pocket and can forget it is there. People have complained about Benchmade’s quality control, but I feel that the griot Iliana is one that almost always comes out well made, because of its simple construction. This is not a high end knife, but again if you are looking for a small and strong knife, light weight, and reliable...get it.

Excellent knife
One of my favorite EDC’s. I have 20-30 knives and this is one of two i carry almost every day

Good value, nice blade
Just like most Benchmades, it’s a great tool. This one is too small for my edc, but I carry a thicker blade for my edc because I’m hard on knives. This is a great knife for being concealed, and a great dress knife. Small, lightweight and sharp. This blade came much sharper than my bugout, Grizzley Ridge or my Claymore. Great blade design that’s useful for its size.Highly recommend for a nice tool to keep around.

Where's USA?
Where's USA? For the first time, I had to adjust the pivot screw for smooth action. WTF...All n all, it's still a nice blade, just like the bigger version.

Most Pleasing-Ergonomic- Fun-To-Use smaller Knife On This Planet. Six Stars For Lock & Ergonomics
Four stars for light-weight but that is not a negative at all. The knife, because of the full steel handle liners, has a bit of heft to it. This translates to feeling like a Quality-Tool and is by no means too heavy; this is a pretty "small" knife. That about covers it !Buy this NOW before they forget how to make them ! (you think I'm kidding). For the best in drop shut / free swingness of the blade a fraction of a blast of WD-40 into the pivot. They use grease from the factory so the pivot does not swing too fast closed for newbies and some nonsense about "gravity knives" at the Canadian border. Oh and maybe relax the pivot screw a degree or two counter clockwise.Don't believe the clap-trap about WD-40 not being a lubricant (says right on the can that it "lubricates : . . .").Trust me; I am a professional : )I've also used thin instrument oils to thin the grease on many other Benchmades with limited effect.WDNow !Do it NOW !I love this knife so much for daily carry. I was sitting around the house on a day off and it struck me that if I lost the Mini Griptillian I have and they quit making them, as they have so many other knives that I really, really like (Benchmade blue&black WM 710 M390-blade) I would be lost with out this Mini.I made sure they were still available and immediately ordered another one. For back up.aaaaaahhhhhh crisis averted.I could rave for pages about how great this knife is compared to all those too smooth and or flat sided wannabe knives. Just buy one and it will sell its self.

Scary sharp
This is my first Benchmade and I can’t really find anything bad to say about it.Some noteworthy mentions:•There isn’t a whole lot of handle space on either side of the blade so the centering is pretty much spot on.•This is the sharpest blade I’ve ever seen on a pocket knife, I’m talking surgically sharp. Be extremely careful with finger placement when closing this knife, especially if you’re snapping it closed.•It’s very lightweight and feels good in the pocket even if you choose not to use the clip.•Some people say the handle feels cheap but I think it feels like it’s meant to last. I don’t understand the G10 craze personally.•If you have big hands your pinky will hang off the end. If you want something bigger you might consider the full sized griptilian. It’s not going to give you the full sized handle feel of a Spyderco Delica but the blade is a bit longer if I’m not mistaken. All around this is a great pocket knife so far, no complaints.

High quality, high value.
Awesome quality, lightweight, looks great, and functions amazingly smooth. Only other knife I have that is comparable is a SOG mini xray vision which was more expensivee but not a bit nicer. The USA made quality is apparent in every aspect of the knife, and I'm sure that it will last a long time. Benchmade warrantee and lifetime sharpening and tuning services are a huge plus for some, but I'm very good at sharpening knives. This knife came sharp out of the box, but a few strokes on a leather strop with polishing compound got it scary sharp. I highly recommend this knife if you're looking for an everyday carry or a wonderful gift for someone. The value is spot on in my opinion. No regrets purchasing whatsoever.
