Nalgene Wide Mouth Easy Sipper Insert, 32oz & 48oz, Black

Perfect solution to wide mouth bottles. I am a firm believer in small opening water bottles for the sole purpose of not spilling on myself. Whether it be in the car or simply walking around, wide mouth openings are always a pain. That said, the pro is that they make the bottle easier to clean. This insert solves both of those problems. The plastic used seems to be just as durable as a standard nalgene and it can be taken out and used in another bottle with ease. Versatile and effective product to solve one of the more annoying issues with water bottles.

Works great with my Nalgene!

These do help minimize the unexpected splashing on my face when drinking, messy pouring to a cup, etc. I bought three for three wide mouth bottles I bought a few months ago. These are a handy, quick fix but seem quickly rushed out to address complains. I’m happy to have them, as are my face and furniture, but I hope a less temperamental improvement comes about. These don’t fit multiple bottles the same. One falls into the bottle when lid screwed on, another sits properly when I tighten the lid verrrry slowly, the third just sits properly. But I’m ok (no sarcasm) paying $4 for a few cents of plastic pressed en masse by the thousands because they do make my life easier. The color choices are stupid, I’ll buy the cheapest color.

I have mixed feelings about this product. It does work, but it just fits by friction, and I'm always afraid I'm going to push it into the bottle. And then it's another thing to wash.Function:It is designed to insert into the mouth of a standard 32 oz. wide-mouth Nalgene bottle. It basically reduces the flow so it's more narrow. I think this is great when trying to drink on the go. I think most Nalgene users know the feeling of pouring water down your front trying to drink while walking, or riding in the car, etc. This product does well to help with that, but does reduce the flow. I feel like it's a great compromise though. Use it for controlled flow and take it out for high flow, quick refills and easy cleaning.Fit:It fits snug, and just presses into the bottle. The mouth of the Nalgene is straight and the sides of the insert are slightly tapered. Just push it in the mouth and you're good to go! The down side is without some kind of lip, there is no stopper, so I always feel like I'm about to push it into the bottle or it's not pushed in enough.Other comments:I purchased the one I did in a color that doesn't go with any of my bottles because it was significantly cheaper... The normal price at the time of my purchase for the other colors was more than I think the product is worth. I'd say that $5 is a decent price for something like this, but any more and you should just buy a narrow mouth Nalgene and a bottle brush.Final thoughts:A well made product that does what it is supposed to. As a fan of Nalgene products, I'm glad I got one, since it's kind of a novel product... but I probably won't get another.

This transformed my entire experience. So simple yet so useful. Water doesn't spill around anymore and it's easier to drink.

Easy to clean.Does it's job.

Fit my 48oz Nalgene bottles perfectly and made it much easier to drink out of them without accidentally dousing myself.

I super love this Easy Sipper. I have a tendancy to just throw my bottle back and splash myself, lol, so this has saved me more than a few times already. It's easy to install, to take out and to clean. It feels secure once you put it in, I just kind of slide it until it feels a bit tight - unlike others, I haven't pushed it so far that it pops into my water bottle - it's pretty easy not to. It has a beveled edge around it, so you don't even notice it's there when drinking. It doesn't move around once you've got it in place, doesn't interfere with the lid at all. There are no finicky parts here for mold to grow in, as it's just one piece, which appeals to me because I hate taking apart 20 pieces of a water bottle lid just to clean it properly. To get it out, I honestly just stick my finger in the hole and pull, maybe that's wrong, I'm not sure. I will say too, I can easily refill my water bottle from my brita without removing it. It feels very solid and well-made, plus, it's BPA free! I think it was true to color too, so color-matching to my bottle was easy.Anyway, for something so cheap this was a perfect addition to my Nalgene and has made it my favorite at home/cold weather water bottle.

work well

Fits the bottle perfectly, doesn't fall in, does what I hoped it would do.
