Review: Not that great - Super performance. Used araldite, fevistick/gel, etc. None was able to hold it under water. This is holding till now..writing after 2 months of usage. Edit: After 6 months, came off.
Review: Great for repairs - Used this to mend an enamel teapot that had corroded on the inside and to mend a ceramic one that had lost the lip inside it's lid. It is advertised as safe for food use and waterproof. It took a bit of work to shape and sand to the right thickness after it had dried but it worked well, is strong and has kept two items in use. Very happy with the product.

**Q: How difficult would this be to use in the threaded hole (threads stripped) of an exercise bike pedal crank arm?**
A: I realize this question is nearly 2 years old, but thought I would share my experience.I just used it top repair a thread on an antique car door handle where the pot metal thread was broken. The thread hole was missing 1/3. I threaded a screw into the remaining portion of the threads, and used this putty to mold a repair. I did use vaseline to coat the screw threads as a release agent; it worked very well. In 2 hours I removed the screw, and sanded the part to fit, today it is back on my car, the screw threads that were repaired felt like they held tight when I screwed it down.I can't vouch for how long it will hold up; but it is worth trying the repair before shelling out big bucks for a replacement part that doesn't match the patina of the rest of my door handles.

**Q: I have screw holes in a stainless steel range hood that i want to patch. After holes are filled, will it blend to look finished, or will patch show?**
A: Chris, I'm not sure if it will show or not, this stuff is fairly dark.  I'd take a small amount, mix it as instructed and let it set up/cure per the directions. Then simply compare the cured steel stik to your range hood and see if it will match. If it doesn't match, you could always experiment with some silver paint to see if you could get it to match the stainless steel.

**Q: Can this product be used to fill in the hollow back of a ring that you wear on your finger?**
A: I would expect that, technically, it would easily fill and adhere to the ring surface.  I would just not know how constant contact with your skin would react.  The cured product seems rather inert but you might want to test a small amount placed against your skin for a couple of days to be sure.  I would do this before permanently adding to the structure of a ring you might want to keep.  I saw another answer recommending a two part product.  This epoxy product IS a two part item as it has one part on the outside ring with a central core of the second hardener.  You just tear off what you need and then twist and pull the putty-like substance until blended.  It will harden like steel.

**Q: Does it work with pvc?**
A: It will but, first score the surface area of the pvc with a razor a lot.  If possible put gouges facing away from the part you are connecting or opposite direction of load.

J'ai commandé différentes colle technique J.B Weld , produits Américain d'excellentes qualités. Une des meilleures,je bricole beaucoup sur les voitures,moto ,a la maison et ces colles me permettent de me dépanner en cas de casse ,fuite, modification, étanchéité, réparation, fabrication. A un moment donné elle n'était pas facile a obtenir en France où en Belgique,mais grâce a Amazon ce n'est pas le cas actuellement et c'est un bon point . Certe peu être un peu plus chère,mais il n'y a pas d'échecs si vous préparez bien votre collage , nettoyer,poncer, dégraisser et coller avec appuie ou pression s'il le faut. Colle 2 composants,pour l'eau,huile,essence,diesel ou pour l'acier ,ou pour l'alluminium,la haute température,la basse température,même pour le bateau et l'eau de mer !
