Sabudana is a difficult item to choose. There are different variants - big, small, those that fluff up and those that don't. After having tried and tested many different brands, I chanced upon Varalakshmi Sabudana which turned out to be the very best I had ever had. Though they claim that it just needs 20 mins of soaking, I would recommend you to soak it overnight or for at least 7 to 8 hours for best results. Not only have I tried sabudana khichdi with this, but also vadas. They have both turned out perfect in terms of softness, each pearl being individual and not sticking to each other or lumpy.

Fungus and spoilt
Spoiled product. All fungus and smelly Sabudana. Ordered in Delhi, so humidity wasn't the reason. Packaging date : Sept 2020 (not expired) Horrible product do not purchase

Varlakshmi sabudana is very good in taste...I really love it...but they charge soo much extra on delivery that I have to stop using it otherwise it was great . I am giving 5 star for this product taste but for delivery it should be zero
