Best Starter set
When it comes to anime I will be one of the many to admit its overly priced and really expensive. However, this is the first anime I really connected to. So, I thought why not buy the dvds? I was very pleased to see there was a starter set for this anime as with most starter sets you get a box the first dvd of the series and a t-shirt or OST. However, with this set you get a very interesting case which is shaped like a guitar amp. You also get a small page with about ten beck style stickers. Inside the dvd itself you will find a black guitar pic with "beck" written on it. Sadly there isnt anything more thats why I give this set istelf a 4 star however for the anime I rate it a 5. I really wish they included one of the Beck OST's or a t-shirt that said "jAM" like Maho had but oh well. Worth paying the $30+ for.

Nice little box
The box was smaller that I thought it would be but a good size. I honestly only bought this for the art box, I would rather have the complete series in one case instead of a bunch of separate ones. The only thing I didn't like was that the "stickers" that come with it aren't really stickers. They wouldn't actually stay stuck to anything. It's more like a sheet of shiny rip offs that you can't really do anything with. The pick was cool though.

if you buy just one anime series this year make it this!
I have been waiting to own beck on dvd for a about a year now.I am so glad i can view each episode over and over again.The series has all the original music which i am really glad funi could pull off.Theses opening episodes set the viewer up for wanting more roll on volume 2.I gave this volume 5 stars because the starter box is fantastic and really stands out on a shelf.I would get the disc 4 stars because there is some visual grain like on a lot of funi's titles.

A little beat up
Honestly the box has a lot of wear, there are some rips at the lid joint. Still it's a cool display box and the contents were undamaged.Beck is an excellent anime. A bit over the top at times but endearing. The sub is way better than the dub as far as music is concerned.

Not worth it! Just comes with one dvd, a stupid pick and some stickers, not even the entire series! but only like the first 4, or 6 episodes... Unless you really want the AMP looking box for your anime collection...
