I know what your thinking. "Why is this thing so expensive?" Honestly, I am not sure why. Don't get me wrong, this is a quality product, but I am not totally convinced it justifies it's own pricetag.The Good:- It fits my car. This fits in the clock area nicely and doesn't draw any more attention than the monster hood scoop attached to the hood.- It snaps in securely. I have no doubt that this housing will stay in place. I have had to remove it a couple of times to add another gauge, and I am impressed every time at how it really snaps in place.- The color matches VERY closely to the OEM dash. It is not exact, but that may be because the texture is a little different (see below)The "Eh". (I don't want to call this "bad", because they are not really bad points)- Price. Again, I know there was a lot of work that went into the modeling, molds, and initial production of this part. It must be what the market will bear.- Finish. The finish is decent. It is very lightly textured, which is good because you don't want a big glossy surface sitting on your dash to produce glare. I do wish it fit in with the OEM dash texture a little more though.All in all, it does what it does very well. There are not many other quality options for putting gauges in the OEM clock location for these cars. Well, ones that aren't carbon fiber that has been hand laid by blind virgins and cost $$$$$.

I ordered this for my 04 WRX, since the previous owner had poorly mounted a couple gauges where the clock is. The pod is sturdy, and fitment is pretty good, with only a very minor gap in one area. Having a product that utilized the OEM clips was nice since I plan on changing the gauges in the future. The first issue I have with this is the texture. When you pay $140 for for a piece of plastic you expect it to look good and blend in with the factory dash. This has zero texture so it looks out of place. All the auto meter pods that I have owned in the past have this feature and for the steep price, this should too. My next problem was the "face plate" holes that are visible if you don't purchase a fancy face plate to go with it. If you buy this item without the add on you will have 4 holes that surround the center gauge, this is a flawed design if you ask me. Since this is already the more expensive product on the market they should include the plates or have an alternative method of mounting them. All said, I knew the product wasn't going to be perfect but this is the only product I found that used OEM clips for mounting, it serves it's purpose but should be less expensive or of improved quality.

I bought this for my STI build and it fits beautifully, there are cheaper options but they won't fit well, this fit awesome and even had adapters for different sized gauges.

Got this for my wrx. Looks good on the dash. Only complaint would be the finish. for the price I wish it was textured a little better. Seems to me that this is meant for someone to paint themselves to match the interior of their car.

Doesn't match the dash, feels cheaply made. Its a decent gauge pod, but not worth 140.

Excellent fitment on my 2005 STi. Very high quality product. I like that it allows both 52mm and 60mm gauges to be mounted.

I searched for ever trying to find one that clips into the slots that are made for it and this is the only one that i found. Its perfect.
