MAX30102 Sensor
It works "OK" on 3.3V and based others comments I wouldn't try 5v. However I marked it down because of this: 1. Heart actually tracks pretty good with a store-bought unit and I included a TFT display to show HR over time as I moved about. 2. O2 shows as 100% continuously and it should be 96% based on the store-bought unit. 3. Ambient temperature is reasonably accurate but body temp is a few degrees below my body temp. Maybe skin resistance??? I have not looked to see if there is a way to calibrate for O2 readings. Check out Random Nerd Tutorials online for a good tutorial on this sensor.

Smoked It
It worked for a while using a 3.3V power supply, but when I tried 5V, it was blown out.

Does not work
Bought two of these, none of them, the wiring was fine. I soldered them very carefully, and they still won’t work. They just heat up.

Dead on arrival -- LED does not light
I did not attempt to return the device, because I was delayed 3 months by storm ripping the roof off of my cousin's house.

Product Description and Images Are Confusing
I ordered this and received the MAX30100. I was fully expecting the MAX30102 as stated in the product description. I will probably return this item. Also, packaging was open on the heat sealed end and item dropped out without tearing open the package.
