I see an unanswered question from a few years ago that I would also like to know the answer to. How many outlets does this extension cord have?

It is the type plug that has one outlet on one side and two on the other side with the protector over the double side. I only needed one side so I left the protector over the double side.

What is the wire gauge of this cord -- 16 or 18?

Hi, KenG,The information that came with this indoor extension cord didn't indicate a wire gauge. It does, however, have information that may contain a code for the size of the gauge that perhaps you would recognize. Here is all of the information that is on the cord: 13A, 125V, 1625W, E186244, A432173C3. I hope this helps.
