The illustrations in this book are gorgeous. This makes a great gift for fans of fairies and fantasy stuff.

This book is not your typical Fairy book with a story and pictures... it is written as a sweet magical journal from and adult viewpoint. I have always loved Cicely Mary Barkers Fairy books, the illustrations and stories are so beautiful and sweet and have loved reading them to my Grand children... but this one seems to be for the Mystical Child that still lives within me that loves the sweet beauty and wonder of a Magical World! I originally bought this as a gift for someone but have found myself so fully enjoying tea and cozy time with this sweet book that it has become mine... This book reminds me how much I too love journaling about the Joy and Magic of our Beloved Mama Nature!

Bought for my daughter's 9th birthday. It is beautiful. Difficult for her because a lot it is written in small print cursive. I think if it was bigger she would have a bit of an easier time deciphering the letters to read the words. She has only just started learning cursive this school year. I'm hoping the more she learns the easier it will be for her to read the book.

You will love it! It's quality material, little hidden secrets in every page. My niece loved it!! I purchased others from the set for my kids and other family members.

It’s adorable can’t wait to read to my grandkids

I got this book for my niece because I had one when I was younger. It was a great price and it’s still lovely, but I can’t help but be a little sad for the missing features such as the original (plastic) jewel on the front over the oval fairy picture and the 3d viewing glasses at the back. Also, the colors in this new one are a big more intense, the pages are more yellow and the front is a darker purple. Other than all that, I’m glad I can hopefully give my niece some of that same feeling I got when I was a kid first reading this book.

This book is just as enchanting, as the Dragonology, and Wizardology books, if not more. It is for people of all ages, and if you weren't interested in fairies before, you are now. The book is full of the whimsical fairy images and details of fairy encounters by the artist, Cicely Mary Barker. You will also find many surprises in this book, such as letters, postcards, fairy dust, and even a gift from the fairies at the end. It seems that this book is aimed more for children, but is most definitely something an adult will enjoy, whether they are reading it to their child or reading it alone. You or your child will be drawn into the wonders of this book. The fairies are child-like, dressed in leaves and flowers. There are many things hidden in this book, to find. The book brings another world to you or your child, and will no doubt, allow your child's imagination to grow, and yours to grow with it. I don't know if this would be the perfect gift for young children. Try to imagine what they would do to a pop-up book before you give this as a gift. I hope authors and artists keep coming out with more books like this one. It brings a new excitement to reading and art, which is something that everyone can learn to appreciate.

The book, had I actually gotten the right thing, is amazing. I had this book when I was growing up and got lost in the pages more times than I could count, it really sparked my imagination. However, when I ordered this book, hoping to give it to my own daughter, for her birthday coming up, I was sorely disappointed.. the book I received was the furthest thing from a children’s book about faeries.. they sent me a book called Boundaries by Dr Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend.. the cover says “when to say yes, how to say no, to take control of your life”.. and when I reported I’d been given the wrong book, I was never offered any option to send this book back and have them send me the correct book, only for me to just keep this book and they would refund me.. that’s not what I wanted. I wanted my daughter to enjoy the faery book that I had loved so deeply when I was her age.. now all I have is a self help book that I don’t even want, will never even open and it will probably just go right to a donation box.. really wish I could give zero stars for this seller

Amazing book,a must buy for every book lover.it is one of the most beautiful & magical book I've ever seen. It is a masterpiece,a gem for every age group.

The older original has the diamond on the cover and the viewer on the last page.The newer ones don’t have these.

I was a bit disappointed as not all the features that you find in the original prints are with this book i received? The Jewel on the cover is missing and also the 3d/magnifying glasses that you are supposed to find in an envelope attached to the back page of the book is missing, but then again i did not pay a whole lot for this print, but it was still disappointing.

Muy bonito, en perfecto estado por la protección en el envío, lo unico que llegó por correos y como no cabe en en buzón, tuve que ir a recogerlo por allí, por lo demás todo bien, el libro, aunque está en inglés (en español ya no lo encontraba por estar ya descatalogado), es perfecto para coleccionar o regalar a una niña.
