What's the deal with all the mold?

If a package is not completely air tight mold will develop. This is common with all jerky products. Plastic packages will occasionally have a pin hole that is invisible to the naked eye that will definitely lead to mold developing inside the package. This occurs in far less than 1% of packages but since these items are packaged individually the occurrence seems higher but really isn't/

I am in san diego, california and when i tried to buy these, amazon said i could not purchase them. do you not ship orders to this area?

Do the ingredients include dairy, gluten/wheat or added sugar?

The alligator and beef, Cajun style, has brown sugar; not sure on the gluten or dairy.North American alligator, beef,salt, spices, brown sugar, dextrose, onion powder, garlic powder, sodium nitrate listed.

I bought it as a gift for my boyfriend, he really liked it. The only one he didn't like was the Kangaroo.
