Tandy Leather Nickel Plated Small Rapid Rivets 100 Pack 1271-12

These rivets work well. I was nervous about ordering online but I didn't have time to go to the special store that sells these. I can never find stuff like this unless I go to Tandys anyway so it is good to know I can buy it on Amazon now. It is difficult to judge size when buying online, these are good for leather and have a good depth to them. Also, it does come with the metal rod to set the rivets in case you do not have one.

I have had 0 problems with these. Imo Tandy brand is the Way to go because of their consistent quality. The worst thing I hear from other bag makers is a problem with rivets failing. I have never had this issue using Tandy brand rivets.

Already have the small and large versions, but ran out of the medium in nickel. Rapid Rivets are quick and easy to set if one uses the right length for the materials fastened. They are suitable for light to medium stresses and great for reinforcing and protecting stitching.

These are good rivets. I do need to purchase a riveting tool which would make the use of the much easier than a hammer.

No problem with delivery. I've been using them and they work fine.

Along with my custom woodwork, I have restarted a skill I left behind years ago (raising children and chasing $$ was my main focus), now that I have time to slow down- I have rekindled an old passion of working with leather- Tandy has always provided great leather working products, that has not changed, it has progressed to the point of "High Quality" items, such as these rivets, very easy to use and wonderful selection of the finishes- I highly recommend these rapid rivets for one sided views of leather work- Thanks Tandy for not going for "cheap and shoddy", but maintaining quality products at a good price, Thanks Amazon for making them available and fast shipping

I use these large rivets in my leatherwork when making knife sheaths. I find that they give me reliable and consistent results, hold material together very well (three layers of 8-9oz leather) and look really really nice. If you like antique style then these might be just what you’re looking for.

I ordered 1000 of these to bling out a Rodeo Queen gown that I was making. (remind me to NEVER hand set that many rivets again- ever!) These were easy to set with the Tandy 8100 rivet setter and anvil. Just punch a hole, insert the rivet and rivet back, and pound away! It was cheaper to order 10 packs of these from Amazon than to buy a bag of 1000 at the Tandy leather store near me.

Pice of crap they are not lag eat all they are 1/4" round waste of my $!!
