this is a good buy ,they are well made and do a good job. they are just as good as the higher priced ones.

Great affordable gauge set,do side work at home and these are great when you don't have a evac and recharge machine,even just to check pressures,accurate and good quality

Comes with almost everything you need, includes instructions for many of the tasks you can use this manifold for. It did have a couple of issues. The yellow line would not stay tight at the manifold, and occasionally would start to leak, and I would have to tighten it again. This only happened twice, when recharging a system, it was fine when pulling vacuum for a leak test. The other issue is that it doesn't come with an fitting for self sealing cans, and the pierce fitting doesn't thread on to the adapter that I bought very well. It damaged some of the threads, and sits crooked by the time it's fully threaded on. It also opened the valve on one can before it was threaded on all the way, but I don't know if that's an issue with the adapter or the pierce fitting in this kit.

I'm just a do-it-yourselfer who wanted to recharge my old car's AC, and when I saw a real gauge set was not all that expensive, I went with this. When I started using it, I was trying to vacuum the system out but the low-pressure gauge never went lower than -17 PSI. I knew I didn't have a leak in my system because it would stay at -17 PSI for a week being connected. I contacted the email, and they promptly sent out a replacement gauge set which worked properly (-29 PSI achieved!). Since this was my first time using proper gauges, it took me awhile to suspect that the gauge itself was at fault, but the customer service was fantastic. The gauges, hoses, and fittings have a nice, solid look & feel for the price, I'm well satisfied!

This product is only as good as the amount of money you spend. This specific product will do what you need it to. But keep in mind the o-rings are plastic not rubber. They easily unseat and will leak. Once you tighten everything down, don’t move anything! A slight twisting of the hose or move of the gauges, can cause the gaskets to leak. This can make you think the system is leaking. It just adds to the frustration of needing these gauges in the first place. If you know what you’re doing, and want a cheap set these will work. If you don’t know much about refrigeration and doing a DIY, spend the extra bucks and get a quality gauge set to avoid more problems.

Work just as they should, great for the price, case was dented

The entire unit is cheap junk. You get what you paid for. Can tap does not tap R134a cans with any regularity. After a couple uses, it won't tap any. The tap valve leaks and won't close completely when in the closed position. The low pressure side valve does not seat and tap properly. It can't open up the schrader valves with any regularity. All of the connectors to the valves and body loosen up and leak unless they are constantly monitored and tightened. I cannot believe how junky this set is. How have so many people used this POS effectively that they rate it with multiple stars? If QC is this low, it's not worth the lottery of getting a bad unit. Then, to add insult to injury, the adjustment screws on the gauges don't turn at all. They appear to be decorative. My low pressure side shows 4 psi when completely empty and disconnected. The screw won't budge, it just deforms. I created a handle on a screwdriver so I could turn it with some force and the screw just deformed. High side is identical. GARBAGE CHINESE JUNK MEANT TO STEAL YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY!
