Without knowing how to properly flush the system, you risk chemical-tasting ice or consuming residue. ​The Missing "Part 2" of the Directions: For anyone else buying this, don't stop after running the gallon through! I have a Magic Chef ice machine that quit working about every other cycle and I thought it was just getting old, going bad. I live in ab area with extremely hard water and didn't think about it before until I started brain storming about how to save my machine. I feel like a silly woman now, because I finally figured it out lol and this stuff is amazing!!! I didn't even use the recommended amount, it was less and it has stull worked!! I can't recommend this product enough, it literally has been years with no maintenance and it still worked! Best 10 bucks I have spent in quite a while!!

I am definitely impressed with this stuff. Did great job on machine thats been working fine but needed a cleaning. Now I decided to try it on machine we stuck in the garage because the mineral build up from well water was horrible and cubes were coming out itty bitty despite periodic cleanings with vinegar and water mix. This is just impressive. Doing a second run of the stuff as I have a feeling it will get remaining bit of mineral build up out, but cubes are already back to full size and astonishing visual change in the mineral build up being removed too. There was a layer of the mineral deposits in the bottom of the tank you could see all settled that had came off. Absolutely recommend this product to anyone!

Works as it should

The product is VG and works as expected; I have bought and used it before without problems. However, this time I ordered two bottles and, while each had an intact foil seal, neither had a bottle cap, not on the bottle nor elsewhere in the shipping box. I note that one other reviewer mentioned this exact same issue.

I really didn't think this stuff would work because it's pretty mild but it did it cut a lot of the calcium and minerals out of my mini ice machine. I let it run for a whole day when I was working about 14 hours and it really cleaned it up pretty good it's running a little bit better needs a few more Cycles but definitely worth it and definitely works.
