When rolled it is 3.75" diameter. The band is 19 3/8" L. Wrapped around my rolled mat so that it just touches without overlapping, there is 7" of extra length. If you allow even 3" overlap max, there is still another 4" for a larger diameter mat. So compare these figures to your rolled mat. Hope that helps. **Q: Does it stretch? Would it fit an exercise mat w/24 inch circumference?** A: It does not stretch and fits up to matt rolled into a 17-18' circumference. **Q: I bought an Amazon basics 1/2” mat. Will it wrap itself around it or fall short?** A: I have an ultra thick mat and it only goes around half way. But it still holds it in place. If you have a regular thickness mat it should go all around. **Q: I have a manduka mat that's thicker and longer than most normal mats. Anyone else try this with one of those?** A: I am not familiar with your mat, however, in my review I dealt with the dimension issue of mat length, thickness, and the length of the slap band. It should help you decide whether the band would fit your mat as there was plenty length left over for mine. My 5-star review is under profile name Cynema with the title SLAP BRACELET FOR YOGA MATS. Rather than re-state it here, it would be easier for you to read the review. Hope that helps ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Essential for carrying your mat without a bag *by L***Y on 16 August 2025* A perfect band to keep my mat rolled up. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good priced item, to keep mat rolled. *by S***I on 5 June 2026* Purchased to keep my yoga mat rolled, does the job.
