Review: A smooth writing black-ink gel pen at a nice price - I write notes, journal and sketch/doodle designs all the time and I'm constantly buying 3- and 12-pack pens, so getting 30 pens (with 12 refills) all at once for a much lower per-pen price is great. I can now refill the black-ink section of my pen cubby and jam a couple into my current journals. So far, I've written and diagrammed testing two of the pens, and they wrote smoothly and evenly right out of the pack. They didn't smear or leak and the black ink is nice and dark. I like that they have a red plastic blob to protect the ink from drying in storage and just pinched it off. They are lighter than some of the premium brands, but seem durable enough. If they work out in the longer run, I will certainly be buying more and in the blue as well.

I write notes, journal and sketch/doodle designs all the time and I'm constantly buying 3- and 12-pack pens, so getting 30 pens (with 12 refills) all at once for a much lower per-pen price is great. I can now refill the black-ink section of my pen cubby and jam a couple into my current journals. So far, I've written and diagrammed testing two of the pens, and they wrote smoothly and evenly right out of the pack. They didn't smear or leak and the black ink is nice and dark. I like that they have a red plastic blob to protect the ink from drying in storage and just pinched it off. They are lighter than some of the premium brands, but seem durable enough. If they work out in the longer run, I will certainly be buying more and in the blue as well.
