Liking the book so far

The product met my expectations and was delivered in a timely manner

It helps to understand that as parents we cannot treat all our kids to same.

This is great. I did this class at church when I was raising my kids. Very beneficial. Bought it does my son and daughter in law for their family.

Always a good read by Chapman.

Awesome book

Great book.

My wife recommended this book to me after I realized that I was having trouble connecting with our youngest daughter ( 7 ). As it turns out her “love language” is “Words of Affirmation” and I was using her own language against her. I’m not a loud or angry person but my daughter has the uncanny ability to push all my buttons in rapid succession. We’d have heated arguments followed by screaming and yelling ( her ) and criticism ( me ).Now, I’ve learned to cool down before talking to her. For example, tonight I asked her to pick up some games that she had left out and she proceeded to yell and scream for several minutes. She did eventually clean them up at which point I told her, “Thank you for cleaning up the mess. You did a good job picking everything up.”Yes, sometimes you need to swallow your pride - but on the upside we are getting along a lot better.
