Premium Poultry Gravy Mix, 20 oz

As you would expect, this powdered gravy mix won't hold a candle to scratch made gravy, but it still produces a pretty tasty gravy. It's quick and easy to make, and the texture is decently thick and lump-free. The flavor works well with both chicken and turkey dishes. My only complaint is, as with nearly all gravy mixes, there's a high salt level. A good item to have on hand for when time is tight and you want some gravy. The large container is a much, much better value than getting it in the individual packets. 5 stars

This premium poultry gravy mix container does state that it's gluten free. It does come in a big 20 oz container that does last a long time. It's quick, easy, and foolproof to prepare using the directions on the container. You will then have a tasty gravy that's lump-free. This premium poultry gravy can be thickened by adding less water or thinned by adding a little more water; pairs well with meals year round. The sodium content shows 380mg per serving of 1 tablespoon, so unfortunately not everyone in my home can have this enjoy this gravy. I use this premium poultry gravy mix for gravy on mashed potatoes, meats and for pot pies. I also use a little bit as a thickener for soups and casseroles; it also adds some flavor. This is a really good deal for a 20 oz container with 94 servings.

This PREMIUM poultry gravy is much better then McCormick regular red label. We've used both. The entire 20 oz bottle yields 1 gallon of gravy = 16 cups. and can be prepared in any smaller amount you need ~ this bottle goes a long way. So I didn't use the extra 1/4 c water. Simmered the mix for 8 minutes and it never did get quite as thick as the original gravy. (Seems to me the only reason this 18 oz bottle makes 1 gallon is because the gravy is much thinner and I prefer the 'PREMIUM' 30 to 60 sec. stir time rather then 'RED' 5 to 8 min simmer) McCormick tip - for richer creamier gravy substitute 1/4 of the water with milk. Doesn't contain MSG or artificial flavors. Instructions on back of bottle, peal back label.

Love this product for a quick, tasty chicken gravy. I use it when heating up left over slices of rotisserie chicken. It tastes very good.

Do you like gravy but don't always cook things to make a roux for a homemade gravy? I find myself in that position a lot and sometimes I just need a quick dinner. This gravy is very good, and it cannot get any easier to make. I'm a picky eater and also not a big fan of a lot of salt, and I find this to be about perfect. I love using this for making open faced turkey sandwiches, along with tossing some chicken tenders in the air fryer, making some instant mashed potatoes, and topping both with this gravy. A dinner you can make in 15 minutes very easily, for a very reasonable price, and when you take a bite you'd be hard pressed to think that it was made in only 15 minutes. It elevates the meal and pulls it all together. I also like the country and brown gravy mixes, and always keep all three on hand, because gravy makes everything better!

Great taste. Like homemade gravy. Doesn't take a lot powder to make gravy.. I will certainly buy it again.

its very different from the one that came from south east asia. same company, same named flavor but very different taste and color.

a simple tablespoon or two makes a refined gravy not too salty. not a chemical after taste. not just for fowl. alone on mashed potatoes
