C**.
Works as expected.
Would improve the DB15 plug by adding finger tightening instead of needing a screwdriver to hold it onto the camera controller.

Works great with Sony EVI-D70 PTZ camera
Bought this to use with an older Sony EVI-D70 PTZ camera. Connected the VISCA cable to a USB to RS232 serial adapter (FTDI chip), and everything worked as expected.

Unnecessarily chunky RS-232 connector
Only way we were able to avoid returning this cable was to remove the outer shell on the SS-232 connector due to chunky midsection that would not allow it to be screwed tight on the rear of our AIDA CCU-IP PTZ. A last minute decision to remove the chrome outer shell averted a return. Very poor design.

Too expensive for what it is
It works but i feel that the connectors could have been sturdier. The connectors are just flimsy plastic with a couple screws in them. Otherwise the cable is fine. For the price i feel like you could get a nicer cable.
