Great Value, Sturdy Set
I bought these pliers due to installing an Eaton TrueTrac locker in a GM 10 bolt and needing to utilize a rather large snap ring for one of the last steps. The no name, swap out tip, cheesy red pair from the auto parts store started to bend before the snap ring would fully compress. These pliers did it in a breeze, great tool to have when you need it.

I needed some for my job and these are perfect for what you need.

Nothing better for larger retainer rings
Really want to give these a 5 star review because they are mostly deserving of it. These are the only ones that are angled properly to keep the clips from popping off and flying across the shop. They also come in a nice molded tray for storage. Well built. The downside is that they do not working on smaller retaining rings that require thinner ends to get into the holes. For most automotive work, they are spectacular though.

Great Tool!
These snap ring pliers are outstanding. I spent way to much time trying to use those flimsy snap ring pliers that convert to inside/outside trying to dis-assemble a golf cart rear end. These pliers made short work of the task and make a great addition to my 'keeper' tools. Don't waste your money on cheaper pliers like I did. Buy these and you won't be disappointed.

Tips too big
They feel well made and sturdy but the tips were slightly too large to fit in the snap ring holes on the shifter cable of a 2025 Subaru BRZ.
