ARTH SCIENCE - Chamomile & Green Tea Natural Eye Makeup Remover (4 fl. oz.)

I am on my second bottle of this eye makeup remover, and I think it's time for me to review it. At first I was weirded out because it is gel-like and almost gets unto your eye when you use it. But, it's so gentle that it doesn't sting the eye at all when it seeps in. It is somehow effective enough though that it removes makeup with ease. I start with a dry face, use cotton pads to apply a pea size or smaller smear of this remover, and wipe away the makeup with ease. Even waterproof remover comes off pretty easily. I have noticed though that I have to use both sides of the cotton pad, or two pads, if I am wearing a lot of eye makeup. I usually get it all off with just one pea size application, but I don't wear a lot of makeup most days. On the nights I do full eye makeup, or waterproof, then it takes more work and more product. Generally, a LOT goes a long way with this. I am not sure I could ask for more...bottle lasts a long time, works on all makeup, and is gentle on and in my eyes.

This is THE eye-make up remover. I have used Neutrogena and Nivea..and each caused my eyes to water and burn a bit. I also tried the product at Whole Foods called No more Tears. And guess what? It did exactly the opposite. So don't bother. I also used more expensive but not organic products like Lancome. That was good- but I wanted something natural. So I found this product and it is AMAZING. A little goes a long way and I have very sensitive eyes, and this feels amazing and I never got any reactions. I highly recommend it. It is truly a best kept secret and I will go back and buy more. It took me like a year, but i finally found an eye-make up product that is natural, affordable and works like magic- without irritation what-so-ever. No I do not work for the company! Just love it and want those who also have struggled with finding a good remover to find relief.

Ok, I was skeptical. I am 48 years old and wear plenty of eye make-up. Mascara, liquid liner, and eyeshadow (usually M.A.C. or Urban Decay) I used to use Physicians Formula lotion, but they have apparently stopped producing it. I want a make up remover that removes my make up with out needing an industrial scrubber, does not blind me, and does not dry my eyelids out. Well, this is good stuff. Very good. I have never been a fan of the gel type of remover as they seem not to work on me, and the oil ones just end up leaving enough residue that upon applying my make up the next morning I look like a racoon in no time. This is a clear gel, not too runny. I apply it gently with my fingers, and then use those round cotton pads soaked with warm water to remove the resulting mess. Without much pressure at all, and a few swipes... poof, its all gone, no residue, no burn, and no dried out lids. Loving that it is a natural product too, though performance is what I focus on. Definitely my new go to for removing eye make up

This is a very nice eye makeup remover. It does not sting your eyes. It removes most eye makeup easily, its not oily or greasy and it does calm the skin around the eyes since it contains calming ingredients. The formula is in a aloe Vera gel like form. The only downside of this form is that when you squeeze it out, its a bit hard to control the amount. Overall, its a very nicely priced natural eye makeup remover product. Gentle and effective. Would buy again.

I have been using all sorts of makeup removers for the makeup that takes removing. Most regular basic makeup can wash off with any soap. But waterproof and some other types need makeup remover. The texture is awful. Like a gel blob flies out on a cloth or cotton ball. Then upon putting it on my eyes, it smears my makeup everywhere. So I head to the shower to try to rinse it and I walk out looking like I was punched in both eyes. And instead of having to remove a line, I have two huge circles to scrub. So I called Amazon because generally, they deal with matters like this. But nope. The representative said because I opened it, I can't get a full refund, but I should send it back. And they will decide if I should get a refund and for how much. I said no thanks. I'll just keep it. I'm not going to send it back and get no refund. I'll just buy a different product. From somewhere else. One that actually does like it advertises. And removes eye makeup. Even if it is waterproof.

Well it is not the one I really love, but still cleaning and removing purposes are working. But there is nothing bad about it... I just prefer more creamy texture than jelly one. It has jelly texture and clear on color, I prefer creamy texture and white color...

This is the only eye maker up remover that I can use! I originally discovered it in the whole body section of Whole Foods a few years ago, and have been hooked ever since. I have sensitive skin and eyes, and wear contact lenses. I dab a bit of this on a cotton round, along with a few drops of water, and it removes all of my eye makeup in a few soft sweeps. I do not wear waterproof mascara, so I cannot comment on that. I can tell you that I've tried all of the brand name drug store eye make up removers and all have made my eyes burn, were oily, or did not remove my make up - just smudged. This eye make up remover is not oily and does not leave a residue, at least not when used with water (which is how I apply it). It has never irritated my eyes. Prior to using this stuff, I got stys in my eyes on occasion, from not having all of my make up removed completely, and now this never happens! I love this stuff and pretty much swear by it. The price on amazon is better than @ Whole foods, so I will continue to buy it here.

I bought this because I'm trying to be more conscientious about what I put on/in my body. I previously used Neutrogena's foaming wash/make up remover and it worked great. I received this in the mail recently and have tried it only a handful of times. It worked okay getting my eye makeup off, but like others have said, it took a quite a bit of scrubbing. I always use makeup remover in the shower so my face was warmed up and steamed, so I think that helps. The consistency and texture is nice and there is no noticeable odor. My favorite thing about this soap is that it doesn't sting my eyes if I accidentally get any in there. In the end, I would recommend this product to others and I would purchase again in the future.
