I just got a 2-pack for my pixel 3a. first time ever, a supershieldz product didn't fit the screen; too small. do these (updated version) fit better?

If your phone is a 3a then these will fit fine. I see a lot of people saying it is too small but that is intentional. Most screen protectors will leave a margin around the edge of the phone so you can use a case (with an overhang in lip around the front for the case to hold onto).

Does this have a full adhesive to avoid refraction between the screen and glass? Or only around the edge?

Not sure, I was able to remove and re-apply the shield.

how do you take it off?

My first one that didn't strick well you just peel the cover back off your original screen.
