P-REP Starter Complete Wooden Fingerboard 30mm - Red

I played around with Tech Decks in middle school, and wanted to get a fingerboard to mess around with again. This thing far surpassed my expectations. First of all, you get to have fun assembling it as if it were a real skateboard, complete with a mini skate tool that they provide. Second, the grip tape is actually some foam padding which actually provides quite a lot of grip and makes it easier on the fingers (they even provide a spare piece). Third, it just looks more like a miniature model of a skateboard with real metal trucks that turn. And fourth, it appears to hold up really well to the abuse my 10 month old daughter puts it through (trying to use it as some sort of hammer against the ground, or put it in her mouth.)

It is amazing! Just like a real skateboard in every way, the ballbearings are so smooth, the foam grip tap is amazing, can’t get over how good this thing is for the money, just as good as a $100+ board, I’ll be buying more that’s for sure, I have pics and vids on my insta, mrbuddie145, the only con I can think of is that the trucks are tight and need to be broken in but so do all the other ones I’ve tried so i believe it’s normal

Pretty decent quality for the price, however boards break very easily. This is my 3rd set in a matter of a few months. I’m not putting this through any irregular use the decks are just a bit weak and snap.

This is a great step up from a Tech Deck without breaking the bank! It is also a good way to experiment with different board sizes if you don’t want to pay big bucks to find you don’t like a fingerboard width. I would recommend this product to anyone starting out on a budget. Package came free of any defect or missing parts just assemble and you are ready to go!

This was my first wooden fingerboard after only having plastic Tech Decks, and at first, I was impressed. I enjoyed putting it together, which was not as difficult as some reviewers made it out to be, but after putting it together, I noticed a few things: - The bolts stick out too far on the wheels - I put a fairly deep scratch into our kitchen table when landing primo(wife doesn't know it was me) - The bushings were hard, which is fine, I just prefer soft bushings bc they feel more realistic - I swapped out the bushings for softer ones, then the kingpin was too long, would also scratch surfaces After about a month of having this, I got a Tech Deck Performance Series, and it is GREAT. All bolts are flush, has rubber bushings, foam grip and softer wheels(which are AMAZING), the only better thing about the P-Rep is the "bearing" inside the wheel. It actually sounds a little like wheels spinning on a real skateboard. If Tech Deck added a bearing to their wooden boards, they would be superior in every way to this board.

Have been skating it for a good two weeks with NO problems! This is an absolute great board for a beginner Fingerboarder looking to upgrade from that plastic Tech Deck. It's got plastic(But with bearings) wheels and is made fully of maple. Don't let bad reviews shy you away, because if someone is saying their trucks/deck broke, THEY ARE SKATING IT WAY TOO HARD AND BROKE IT THEMSELVES. I literally stood on mine as a joke to show a buddy that it wasn't your standard Tech Deck and NOT A SCRATCH! Also decided to order one of the 34mm Completes w/ the spaced trucks and CNC Lathed bearing wheels... So hopefully the upgrades will show! Good on Broken Knuckle for making very affordable wooden setups.

Ive been skating tech deck for years, then i bought a circuit board about a year ago and it had better but similar grip tape. Both lost that good grip they had when new, after a week, but i didnt really care. I was just limited to what could do. I mean holy smokes was i limited, even when new. This is my first real fingerboard and I smacked the back of my head when I tested it out. This board kit was the best purchase ive ever made. Im 2 finger skating like never before, i landed my first 2 finger nollie frontside tailslide like third try (i have to adjust). My ollies are higher and more controllable. The board is very nice looking and sturdy, barring wheels roll like a dream, and the foam grip tape is soft yet grippy. Trucks are not totally even one side of one is a little longer than the other, but no worries. Worth every penny even though it was a very few penny's. Im gonna buy different board types and start collecting now. This is rediculous, im gonna end this review so i can start thrashin this thing.✌✌✌✌✌

NOT WORTH THE PRICE AT ALL. The product was difficult to assemble, the screws and bolts which came with it were all wasted, when I tried to attach the trucks to the fingerboard, the knuts and screws would not screw in properly as they were completely stripped out, the next day the whole front truck broke, also the grip tape was not grip tape at all it was foam, I would not recommend this fingerboard for anyone, I bought a Tech Deck fingerboard for 5 dollars, and compared to this 14 dollar board it was much better. If 1 star wasn’t the minimum limit I’d rate this ZERO STARS.
