If you live in an older house with aluminum wiring like mine, any wiring job requires AL/CU connectors when doing aluminum to copper connections. It is pricey for what they are but theyre easy to use and hold the cables good. I'd definitely recommend over twist nuts

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Safe, strong Al-Cu connection. Don't burn down the house!

We just bought a house built in the 70s with aluminum wiring. As we update switches, lights, ceiling fans, etc., these have worked very well to secure a connection between Al and Cu wire. We have open circuits where old wire nuts, even ones that were supposed to be for Al-Cu connections, have come loose due to Aluminum expanding. To do that, they would have had to heat up, and that's the fire danger, along with the electric arc that gap could cause. The set screws easily clamp down hard so these leads are not going anywhere. They are close enough to the size of the wire nuts they replace to not crowd the box as we switch over. If you have to connect aluminum wire to copper, use these! Also come in three lead style.
