I'm not a stylist by any means of the imagination, but I used this product to help someone upkeep their hair. The product is beautifully packaged and seems intuitive to use. Although three pieces comes in the package I only use 1 or 2 of them so far. I think this is a good value given the time it saves with hair upkeep. I recommend for its durability, variety and usefulness.

I use these two freshen up my sister locks these really work. I like the different sizes that they offer with. These is really easy to do my sister locks. I would recommend this to anyone who has locks !

I bought these after 25 years of loose roots and I’m flabbergasted. Actually, I thought they worked differently and had to look for instructions (they didn’t come with the package). Once I figured out that I was supposed to pull the end of the dread through the root using the tool, I was able to tighten the dreads. Mine are past my waist and some are too thick for the tool and get tangled going through, but so far this is a darn sight better than anything I’ve tried before. The dreads next to my ears are finally tight without all that fizz sticking out awkwardly. Will be recommending to my dreadie-hippie friends!

I do wish one can smaller, but they are great quality and I love the convenient case.

If you have super microlocks like in the 400-600 count range, the smallest tool may be too big for the base of the loc.Also, I want to say that I used this tool on my own hair and not to do someone else's hair. And, I found at certain angles it was difficult and uncomfortable to grip the flat tool. My hands felt a bit strained.
