The original fans that mount to the cooling block were beginning to growl pretty bad when I would open the door and they would kick into a higher speed. I measured as accurately as I could and determined that the 92mm fans were probably the best option, and I guessed right. These are exactly the same size as the originals and fit the plastic framework perfectly. The electrical connections even clicked right onto the socket on the circuit board. I opted for the ball bearing fans since the originals barely made it 4 years. I believe the Audew humidor is the same thing, just branded differently. Less than 20 minutes to pull the cooling block, pull the fan bracket and fans, swap them out and reverse the process for reassembly. Easy peasy and now my humidor is quiet! Review: Impressive airflow - These were the 92mm fans with the largest claimed CFM rating I could find, so I picked up a pair of them to hook into a ChiliSleep Cube to see if it got more effective with better fans, since I already had to crack it open for a power board replacement. It might be a little louder than stock, but if it is it's still a perfectly acceptable volume, and this dropped the cooling power of the Cube by a full 10°F. I've had them running 24/7 for about two weeks now and they show no sign of giving up soon, and I'm sleeping great in a nice chilly bed. UPDATE: A couple weeks shy of a full year of running nearly 24/7/365 and these show no sign of slowing down. ## Features - 12v Cooling Fan: Perfect for small solar panel, pc case, dehumidifier, TV refrigerator, space heater, grow tent, wine cooler, electric boat , portable dryer and other audio video electronics - DC Brushless Fan 12V: Rated Voltage:12V 0.16A; Speed: 2500RPM; Air flow: 54.8CFM; Noise:31dBA ; Connecter: XH2.54-2Pin; Cable Length: 30cm Or 12 inches - Dual Ball: Long-lasting have a lifespan of 50,000 hours and allows the fans to be laid flat or stand upright. I want to be able to adjust manually. Thanks** A: As you know you have to solder the wire from the fan to a 5v converter that runs on 120v, then you can plug it into a dimmer switch, as that is what I use. **Q: What is the acceptable voltage range for this fan? I like to use it in a boat application and voltage goes up to 14.8V when charging.** A: Hello friends, the 9225 fan can work at 14.8V, but it works better under 13.8V and has a longer life. The ball bearing fan has a larger air volume . **Q: Is this weather proof** A: No, this fan is ment for dry applications. **Q: Can I use any 12v dc plug in adapter? Or do I need one that only outputs .1 amp** A: Yes you can use any 12v dc power supply, as long as it outputs more than .1 amp. The .1 amp rating is the amount of current it uses. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Direct replacement for my Tooca 48L humidor *by B***Y on July 25, 2025* These are a direct replacement for my Tooca 48L electric humidor.
