Kenda Sunlite City Slick Tire 26 x 1.5
The tires I recieved were made by Kenda. This was a pleasant surprise because Kenda is a reputable tire company.I bought these to replace the off-road tires on mine and my wifes mountain bikes. Since having children I now pull a trailer behind my bike and we do not go off-road. My main reason for wanting street tires is because the aggressive knobby tires constantly kick up debris into the trailer, covering the poor kids with rocks, leaves and anything else on the road. I also knew the rolling resistance would be much less, meaning we could go further and faster on the same energy.I was a bit disappointed to find these tires are only recommended up to 50 psi of air pressure. However this is my only complaint. The tires mounted easily and straight the first time, and they work just fine. They could offer even less resistance if I could pump them up to 80 psi or so, but I want them to last so I will stick within the recommended pressure. They are much more quiet than off-road type tires and I am very grateful for them after longer rides. After a few long rides I have no problem recommending these tires for anyone who wants to convert from off-road to on-road. I am sure there are better tires available, but for the cost these work just fine. If you are converting from standard mountain bike tires you will also want to pick up some proper sized tubes.I would give 4 stars because in my opinion any on-road tire should hold a minimum of 50 psi instead of maximum. However, the tire seems to be built well and works very well despite low pressure. Considering the cost I have no problem giving this 5 stars.

Cheap But Fine City Tires
Bought these to rehab a vintage 26er mountain bike into an urban bomber. These fit the bill and roll well for city streets and make way more sense on these older rigid steel bikes than knobby mtb tires. Not the lightest but go on easily and have substantial thickness so should stand up to occasional glass shard and hopping curbs. All good!

Very fragile
Pros: the profile is good for paved roads. You can lean in the curve and thus take 90 deg curves with more than 20mphCons: the middle of the tire is rather thin, fragile and prone to shear. I have been replacing tire twice in the last two months. On the tire it said 40-65psi. In reality everything above 50 May break the tire. (See photo) I got lucky amazon gave us 2 months to return for purchases around and after thanks giving.

The best ride
After using nobby mountain bike tires, these make the ride on city streets feel like you're floating on a cloud. Much less effort to pedal. Not sure how these will last, but for now, they're a 1000% improvement. Should have switched to these years ago.

Sheds water as designed
Purchased $15 Craigslist Hilltopper, for a grocery getter. Heavy bicycle that needed new tires, tubes, and rim strips. I had to polish the spokes, and clean the brake strip on the wheels and grease every moving part, but this bicycle should be good for another 30 years... Have always used Sunlite tires for pavement on Grocery getters.

Great City Tire (NYC)
Installed these the other day. I bought them to convert an older mountain bike to a city "point A to point B" bike. They were a piece of cake to install. I recently tested the tires on a wet road and they seemed to handle fine. I would imagine they would be good in rain unless you are haulin' a** down a curvy road in the rain. With that said, these a strictly city tires and I do not recommend them for anything other than concrete or asphalt. Basically, if you are looking to replace your MTB tires with a more road/city friendly tire, I highly recommend these.

Sunlite city slicks
I found these easy to install, aired upto to 55psi and spin nice and true. They are noticable faster onroad tires. Removed a 1.95 front and a 2.10 rear and fitted two 1.95 slicks. No problem with rims or tires at this point. Bike looks great also, sooooo quiet cruising the roads at night, no one hears you coming, lol. Tires are stamped 45-65 psi so im starting at 55 to make sure they dont blow up in my face, so far, no concern..
