3M Industrial Adhesive 4799, Black

Was recommended by 3M tec help for the weather stripping and fabric I use. Had been using 1300L, but this stuff was much better, thicker for rough surfaces.

This is the only thing I could find that would keep a new digitizer attached to my iPad. Highly recommended. I was installing a new digitizer on a iPad with a very slightly bent case (~1/16"). I went through two different sets of double-sided adhesive tape, which is what is usually used, but neither would bond the digitizer to the case for more than a few hours. I did a good bit of research and found an ex-apple repair person singing the praises of this black adhesive. I bought and used a tube on that basis. A small amount of this adhesive around the perimeter followed by overnight clamping and the digitizer was rock solid. That was six weeks ago, and things are still perfect. This is a fantastically strong adhesive.

This is a very large tube, and is needed for diverter gasket install. Stuff works wish I could find smaller tube since I now have a 40 dollar. Ottle of adhesive I don't need

Good for spider gaskets

3M 4799 works well for holding a rubber seal in place on plastic part. There was a small hole in one of the tubes when we received it but we were still able to use it.

Great rubber adhesive for pools.
