My knee gives way at times when walking would his help

I bought these for my husband for both of his knees and to be fair they have been brilliant. He said that he feels like they support his knees and little pain

Is this good for a meniscus tear?

I had a bucket-handle tear of the meniscus. It took surgery to fix it.

Has anyone tried this and the single strap one? Which do you find is better? Thankyou

I bought the double strap one few months ago and it had been a brilliant support and good adjustment so as not to get too tight rwaly pleased with item wellworth its money .

How do you know if its placed correctly?

It's trial and error I am afraid. Sadly it doesn't stay in place so you have to keep adjusting git on a regular basis.
