Nobsound D60 50/60Hz Stroboscopic Speed Strobe Light & Tachometer Disc for Turntable LP Record Player (Power Supply Version,Black)

This useful piece of kit is exactly what I wanted for some time now. I am now able to get visible results and make adjustment- to turntable speeds to turntables which can be adjusted. My vintage gramophones and modern turntables now can be adjusted to play accurately at all speeds at any time of day. Before, it was very difficult to do with mains electric lighting, especially one turntable in the corner of a room. Day or night it was impossible to set at the correct speeds using any of my stroboscopes, but now it can be done in seconds.

I've got a variety of turntables from high end, to mid priced and all from various decades.As is true for these types of equipment, they need regular servicing and calibration.I'm able to do all the maintenance, but I've never owned my own stroboscope before as you have to ensure they're the right frequency for the mains voltage in your country, plus you need a reliable disc to use with it. Even more so, often expensive if you need them to meet all the above criteria.During a search (I was looking for another product, but hopefully at a reduced price), I saw this and at that price I had to at least try it.I can't believe my luck!From belt drives, to idlers and direct drives, this gives excellent and accurate results.Being an accuracy based person, I used an oscilloscope and test tones to check the accuracy after using this and I can confirm, IT IS SPOT ON!This is a real bargain for something so accurate.Highly recommended for any turntable/vinyl boffin who wants to ensure speed accuracy .

Until now, I used a mains lamp and a my old tachometer disc to check turntable speed, but found difficulty in seeing the pattern except in low lighting. This new device and its included disc produces a very distinct pattern in normal lighting conditions. Its compact size makes it easy to hold and position. I think it is a good idea the way the manufacturer added a yellowish tint to the light source.

I've been looking for a reliable tool for checking my turntable speed for some time, especially with the difficulty getting hold of "old style" filament bulbs. But having taken the plunge and purchased this I wish I'd bought it years ago - fantastically bright light (easy to use in daylight) and the tachometer disc is great quality which combine to make adjusting the speed a breeze. Highly recommended for turntable enthusiasts.

I have now set up the speed on my record player accurately with the strobe light. My record player had the strobe markings on the turntable but not a strobe light. I was given a strobe disc to use with this order and found that it was as accurate as the one on the turntable. Very happy now.
