Our 5 , 7, 9, and 15 year olds had no problems attaching them to the chopsticks once we showed them how. They had no problems using them. We had no problems attaching them to chopsticks. I also purchased a 100pk of wooden chopstick in red paper covers and these chopstick helpers fit perfectly on them. I researched the various "trainer chopsticks" available and decided to give these a try, they were better priced then those. Great spur of the moment purchase!!!
