Got Rid of the Fungus and Brought My Lawn Back to Life!
I purchased BioAdvanced Fungus Control for Lawns after noticing fungus affecting my grass, and I’m extremely pleased with the results. After applying it as recommended, I was able to see the fungus disappear and my lawn recover. My grass is now as green as it has ever been and looks healthy again. One of the best things about this product is how easy it is to apply. I simply connected my garden hose to the bottle/dispenser and sprayed the lawn according to the directions. There was no complicated mixing or additional equipment needed. I was impressed not only with how simple the application was, but also with the results. Seeing the fungus disappear and my lawn return to a beautiful green made this product well worth the purchase. BioAdvanced Fungus Control for Lawns worked exactly as I hoped it would. Great product and definitely 5 stars!

Alternate Lawn Disease Products
My lawn has had brown patches so at first I used Scotts Disease X. Not sure if that worked. Then I used Spectracide Triazicide as beetles will eat roots of well watered lawns. That immediately worked. A few weeks later more brown patches so I tried this Fungicide. Definitely helped as it kills Dollar Spots which others don’t. I also read that if you use same disease killer, your lawn can build immunity to it. So now I rotate every few weeks between the 3 products.

Slow but Steady Improvement
According to the product description, the yellow spots on my backyard lawn match the symptoms this product is supposed to treat. Unfortunately, after using it for a week, I have not seen a visible Improvement yet. 9/14/2025: Here's a photo from the same place a month later. The grass does look better, so it's definitely working. It just takes a bit of patience, but it seems worth the wait! 9/19/2025 Looks even better after yesterday’s mowing!

Works but be patient! It’s not magic
I use this when I start to see dollar spot in my zoysia grass. Easy to apply and it works. Just a reminder, this will not make the dollar spot go away or heal already impacted areas but it will keep it from spreading and dissolve it in impacted areas. Expect at least a solid week before real results are seen. Video is 18 days after application on a fairly heavily infested lawn that was sodded 3.5 months ago. I will continue to apply as a preventative in the spring and fall months with or without present evidence of fungal activity. Keep N levels steady and that will help prevent further outbreaks.

It does work, but takes multiple applications and double the product each time...
Like other users have stated, it absolutely works but unless you are smart enough to put it down very early for preventative, it takes multiple applications. Also, be aware, if you use the liquid product (which I personally believe works better than the granules) you have to turn your water pressure on the hose on LOW. Otherwise, the full hose pressure will use up the product so fast, it will never even cover 1,000 sq feet. The best advice I can give is apply generously- as in, at least 2-3 times the amount of product suggested- don’t be scared of over applying - unlike a fertilizer- you can’t really overdo- Unless the outdoor temperatures have already reached 85 then it’s too late in the season for the liquid product. Like others report, the past several years my lawn has developed a summertime fungus. Every June I noticed small patches of white fluff, almost like cobwebs, in the morning on the dew covered lawn. These spots quickly spread rapidly around the yard creating small circular dead spots that would often merge together. Then eventually huge yellow and brown splotches! It isn't just my lawn, everyone in the neighborhood has the same issue here in the north east. The past couple of years I started putting down the granules in May. I'm not sure if I'm not using enough or if they just aren't working because even though I put the granules PRIOR to the first signs of disease, inevitably, I still get the disease. This BioAdvanced spray works wonders and stops the growth and spread of this fungus! I've used this for the past few years AFTER the fungus started - though the rating of 1 bottle per 5,000 sq feet isn't even close to what you need. I use 2 bottles per 5,000 sq ft, which is 4 bottles for my entire back yard. Even then, I need to apply it twice, 14 days apart for it to clear up the fungus. Also, I agree that it works more effectively than the Scotts DiseaseEx. However, as other's state, you will blow through this bottle very quickly and there is no way this will cover the 5,000 square feet as advertised. It is important to turn the water pressure on the hose down LOW, just to get the bottle to reach 2,500 sq feet. You definitely want to be prepared to hustle and have your hose spread out in advance to maximize your application. I don't mind spending the money if the product works and it definitely does -- again with multiple applications (using both granules and liquid.) The video is an image of the fungus before treating multiple times, the photo is after.
