After only a month however, the top corners ripped. Now the inner cardboard like material is broken and the whole edge is the front is hanging off with the staples and nails sticking out. This is with minimal light use, I would still recommend this product just be gentle, perhaps we open and close the box too frequently or it is just not very sturdy and more mean for occasional use rather than daily use.Update 9/25/16: I contacted Amazon 3x about this product, they said they would e-mail the manufacturer and company. Amazon really fell short here! All three represenetives never e-mailed the company, but told me they did! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Then I wrote several times to the company who didn't respond to my repeated e-mails and calls. My health took a turn, and I have a few medical devices I have to use on a regular basis, like a blood pressure cuff and sharps containers. This is a good solution. It is easy to access, and looks nice to just be left out. It keeps me from having the devices scattered all over my living room. It can hold enough weight to put feet on it. The only problem I came across is the faux leather. After about six months, it all cracked away from the decorative stitching across the lid. It started looking a little rough. Keep in mind you do get what you pay for with furniture; it’s definitely not sturdy enough for an adult to sit on, and one of the two I bought came with the lid slightly warped, showing it’s nothing more than cardboard around the rim. However, the cloth seems nice quality and it’s a great way to add color to a room. I’m redoing my living room and have been trying to find light green accents, and this worked perfectly. I would recommend going ahead and storing blankets or something in it, as it doesn’t want to stay completely unfolded without something inside to fill it out.
