I use these in my pond filter. I don’t think they did very good so I had to take them out

I bought these for my. 300 gal garden pond. Packing did its job, none were cracked or broken. I’ve tried various types of media. Like this style the best: it’s large surface is easy to pack /organize in my bio filter, theses tons of surface area for the bio bugs to take up residence, can be broken to fit if needed. I’ll never buy the little style media again. Decent price for the quality. Highly recommend

Can I write a negative star review? Buy these if you want your fish to die! Have a 120g planted tank. Bought these to eventually replace my K1 bio filter media. Added the bricks to my sump vertically for max water flow to start building bacteria. Within 24 hours, I had a massive die off of fish. Lost about 20% of my population the second night they were in the tank, then every night, lost more fish. After a week, I had lost about 50% of my fish population. None of my fish showed any signs prior to adding these bricks. Did 20% water changes every other day while the bricks were in the sump, nothing helped. All my parameters tested perfect. After a week, I removed the bricks, did a 50% water change, and that stopped the die off. Have only lost 2 fish since I removed them 2ish months ago. I emailed the company, and never got a reply, not surprised. I will never buy another Hygger product again.

Bought these bio bricks for a custom 40 gallon sump that I was building wanted something that was easy to install and clean great value for the money buying in bulk definitely had more than I needed. The bricks are very functional and easy to stack instead of other types of media.

Nice media. Showed up with no broken pieces. It can be cut to size with a hacksaw to fit different applications. I have cut it to fit in smaller baskets. Should work well

Excellent product, just 2 days and I have clear water. All the bricks are good and not even one is broken. So I have enough stuck now at least for one year👍

I don't know how effective these really are. But what I don't like is that they are crumbly.
