In-Depth Breakdown of What I Got
I recommend this product a lot and have a lot of specifics as to why: TLDR: I organized and counted all the cards. I got 1029 cards, not just 1000. Other reviews make it seem like there are hundreds of the same card, and there are not. If you're looking to collect I'd say this is a good deal, as you could sell any repeats. If you're looking to build decks, I 100% recommend this for you, regardless of if you're looking to build commander or standard decks. The only data I didn't gather is about rarity, since I bought these as a player and not a collector. A lot of people on here complain about a lot of repeated cards, so I was skeptical to buy this when i did. They made it seem like there were 200 of the same card in each pack. This is not the case! I enjoy organizing and wanted to make sure I got my money's worth, so I sorted through all the cards and counted how many cards there were of each color, how many cards were repeated & how many times, how many foil's there were, and how many Lands was included. I put it in a spreadsheet and posted a picture of it as part of this review, but wanted to make a couple notes. 1. there were more than 1000 cards in the box. Part of the reason I sorted through them all was to make sure I got the 1000 i paid for, turns out they put extras in too! (if you were wondering this deal of $20/1000 cards means you're spending about $0.02/per card, or 2 cents/card, which is an amazing deal in my opinion.) with the extra cards it comes out to even less than 2cents per card. 2. The most of 1 single card that there was, was 9 cards, and that was only the case for 2 different cards ("Dutiful Return" sorcery & "War Mammoth" summon mammoth). Most of the cards were not repeated more than 2 - 4 times, and many of them were just single cards. This spreadsheet shows that 632 of the cards were a repeat of another card so, since there were 1029 cards in the box, there were 397 different cards, many of those having no repeats, or just 1-2 repeats to them. 3. the cards are in phenomenal condition and are a from a variety of different times, some older cars, and some that seem brand new, all in good condition. 4. was delivered on time, and the package was in good condition as well. 5. Since they are random there was not the same number of each color of card. The box I got had a lot of Black cards and not as many colorless. this also means the number of foils could fluctuate too. My box had 52, but yours may have more or less. 6. There were only 7 land included in the whole box, and each was non-basic. I count this as a win, since buying 1,000 cards, just to end up getting 500 lands would kind of be a let down, plus you can buy Basic Lands for pretty cheap elsewhere. Overall, 1000% recommend this as a purchase, whether you're just starting, have been playing for a while, or are collecting. Enjoy the spreadsheet and if you have any questions about it, I'd be happy to answer. I haven't found any downsides to this purchase because, especially since it was actually legit (which surprised me a bit). Notes: For people who dislike repeat cards : 1) I'm assuming you're just a collector and not a player because being able to put the same card in 2 or 3 different decks and not have to switch them around a lot is really nice. 2) Also if you're trying to make a standard deck repeat cards can be really nice, and if you were thinking of buying this to make commander decks; I haven't done it yet, but i could probably make at least 5 different good commander decks (which need 100 individual cards, no repeats) About the Data: 1) The only data I didn't gather is about rarity, since I bought these as a player and not a collector. 2) The SL boxes in the spreadsheet are "special Land" meaning non-basic, I wanted to see how many there were of each color; so i didn't count the Land section of the spreadsheet in my calculations. I just kept the Land section to show specifically how many there were included, overall. So I didn't double count any cards, i made sure of that since i didn't want to get ripped off. 3) Yes, it did take me a LOOOOOONG time to get and compile all this data. I hope you enjoy it and that it helps.

As advertised
Exactly as advertised, little over 1000 cards. No rares or foils. Cards are good quality. Large variety and mostly equal amounts of colors. Some duplicates, but the most I got of one card was 7. Good value, wish there were more basic lands though.

ok for the price
My kids: casual play. Looking for lots of cheap cards. What showed up: 1.) standard card board box that stores roughly 1000 cards 2.) 1064 cards (if I did my math right) a.) black x198 b.) blue x198 c.) green x104 (x42 "Blastoderm" from Nemesis -> yep 40+% of the greens were one card ...ugh!) d.) white x174 (x29 "Order of Leitbur", a larger number of old sets and white borders) e.) red x106 (x39 "Stone Rain") f.) multi-color x135 (reasonably good mix, some repeats, a little black/red and blue/red heavy) g.) non-colored x149 (x44 "Pyrite Spellbomb", x23 "Accorder's Shield", and x18 "Adventuring Gear") 3.) no land or non-basic land (I saw this was a previous complaint ... we wouldn't have minded some non-basic land) 4.) mostly common but a fair number of uncommon 5.) using [...] as a price guide I see a random selection of cards mostly 2-3 cents but a periodic 10-20 cent card. 6.) a fair number of cards from older sets (I didn't count but would guess 10-20% were old sets -> white borders and weaker art.) pros: - price/card (yes, these are picked over so you will not find many/any gems ... just cheap casual cards) - good variety of cards in some colors (for us, blue and black were nice) - most cards in good/great condition cons: - distribution of cards could have been better. Green and Red distribution caused some sadness. There were a fair number of cards that had 4-10 repeats, some were unique, but some were overly done (take out the Blastoderm from green and I was left with little green given a 1000 cards just showed up). conclusion: - So I look at this as a bulk buy of 800 cards (with few greens) once you remove those crazy high repeat rate cards. So $15 for 800 cards is still a pretty good deal. You don't hand pick your cards but that is fine for us. The random selection is part of the fun for my boys to assemble a fair deck from a random-ish pile of cards. The one star docking was because of the high repeat rate but overall still a reasonably good purchase. == update == My kids and some nephews are getting into this so I bought a second. Previous (above) was fulfilled by "Pink Bunny Games". The new one was done by "Toys Vault". 2.) 996 cards a.) black x239 b.) blue x158 c.) green x292 d.) white x114 e.) red x159 f.) multi-color x8 g.) non-colored x26 Pros: - No crazy repeats like before. Cons: - Very heavy in "Champions of Kamigawa" set (rough guess is 70-80% from that set). Maybe that isn't bad for you but I was looking for more random cards. - Some moderately heavy repeats (a few had 20+, many had 5-10 copies ... but way better than previous box) - 1000+ bulk cards is not 996. Not worth worrying over being shorted a few cards but not meeting the 1000 mark on a 1000+ bulk block of cards is in poor taste.

HUGE amount of dupes. And I mean, really.
TL;DR: A lot (REALLY) of duplicates. Not worth. Returned. Well, let's go from the start: really no lands, as it states, ok. But also, no rares at all, as description also states, but still ok. Overall you can see its a mix: some are new and some are used you can notice by the cards edges coloring on the box picture. Contains all colors and there's everything from creatures to artifacts, tokens, etc. But the amount of duplicates is outrageous. I mean, having some is completely normal and understandable, but not this number! From the picture of where they are separated by color and there are 2 decks each color in the bottom, those decks are ONLY duplicates of that SAME card, which is on top of the pile facing up. Yes, that's right, check following pic. On the other decks (the ones on top) there are some duplicates also, which quantity varies form 3-5. But specifically for those cards mentioned, it is a huge number, being more than a whole deck itself, only with duplicates. It is done in such a way that looks like standardized: 2 piles per color, 60+ cards each pile, you do the math... By reorganizing the chunks of cards differently, you can even see they form big blocks of cards, that were not even ever separated or touched, just thrown in there as a bunch load. Now the last but not least, the last picture where cards are facing the back to each other, you can see that only the SINGLE duplicates on the right side (not counting the random 3-5 for the other decks) represent more than half of the whole box. You can easily say 600+ just from looking at it. For me, no value for money at all. I am returning this item.

Too Many Duplicates
Would you mind writing a review for me? (I think you can link pictures) Iโve bought three boxes like this, this one being the third. The previous two boxes had a large variety and so did the third. However the third box had many more duplicates. The first two had a few duplicates with the most being about 15, but this box had nine different cards with a crazy amount of duplicates. Vulpine Goliath X 72 Voyaging Satyr X 68 Kederekt Creeper X 50 Lightning Talons X 29 Knight of the Skyward Eye X 42 Voyages End X 68 Kathari Screecher X 37 Jhessian Lookout X 22 Greatsword X 22 15-20 duplicates is understandable, but 72 duplicates is very disappointing. This is especially disappointing because my other purchases from this seller have been great, with a wide variety and duplicates less than 20. Other reviews complain about 50+ duplicates, so maybe I shouldnโt be surprised to find so many duplicates. My past experiences with this seller have been good without so many duplicates, so it might have been a fluke. After this one Iโm not sure if Iโd buy from this seller again. That said, all the boxes I bought had good quality cards and what I needed to build more decks and I am always happy to have more cards for the collection and play. Many of the duplicates I got were actually pretty good cards that Iโd use in decks, but just far to many for me to use. All in all, a good buy for both beginners and veterans.

Good variety, no big dupes - would buy again
Arrived quickly and packed well. All cards in new condition. Here is the breakdown of my box: 1037 cards from 60 different sets. 621 different Common cards (804 cards total), 209 different Uncommon cards (233 cards total). Spread out across types/colors as follows: 1% non-basic Land, 5% Artifact/Colorless, 5% Gold/Multicolor, 10% Blue, 12% Black, 16% Red, 25% Green, 25% White. The most heavily represented sets were Llorwyn Eclipsed (77 different cards), Bloomburrow (71 different cards), and Marvel Super Heroes (51 different cards). Duplicates: 632 unique cards, 162 sets of "twins," 27 sets of "triplets," and 9 sets of "quadruplets." Overall very happy with the purchase - just looking to buy some bulk to have new players dig through to build starter decks, so this is perfect - wide variety, and lets them see a lot of sets as they figure out how they want to build their decks or find out which sets they like best. Will definitely buy again.

Great for M.T.G. beginners to get started!!!
I purchased this for my daughter who wanted to build her own playable decks. I purchased the three items that are stated to be most frequently purchased together. There were a lot of duplicates in the 1078 cards I got but because this is a game that involves trading & collecting my daughter was very happy! I had a friend that is very knowledgeable about " Magic The Gathering Game" look over everything I purchased & he said I got a very good deal, he also explained that duplicates are not necessarily a bad thing whether using them in play or having them for " Trading" purposes. He also pointed out that the cards that were most duplicated were good strong cards that work well when played together. He basically said whoever put these cards together knew what they were doing! I told him what I had paid for the three recommended card selections & asked " Did I do good?" He responded " Yes most definitely, as a matter of fact not only can your daughter build multiple playable decks, she got some very strong cards! As a matter of fact I'm a bit jealous!" This may not be the most exciting bulk supply of cards for a very experienced player but for some one like my daughter who is just getting into the game It allowed her to build multiple playable decks of all colors!!! Please keep in mind that I did purchase the 3 products most frequently purchased together. That being " The 1000+ Bulk magic the Gathering cards", " The 100 Rare/ Uncommon M.T.G. Cards" & " The 500 Basic land cards- 100 of each land type". I apparently scored big time on my purchased of 20 sided dice as my friend enviously said " Wow...Those are 1st generation M.T.G. Dice!" I also learned that I indeed got a great deal for my purposes as a " Fat Pack" cost as much as I spent on the 3 frequently purchased together items & the 20 sided dice!!! While I might not have gotten my daughter any " Mythic Rare's" or " Plains Walkers" to make up for the duplications in the 100 Rare & Uncommon purchase I got 101 cards all Rare & Uncommon with the bonus card being a valuable card. Since M.T.G. is a game that involves collecting & trading the duplicates don't bother me a bit especially when my friend explained that the duplicates we got were strong cards & cards designed to be played together. This frequently purchased together suggestion really helped me a 50 year old guy that knows very little about M.T.G. help my daughter get a big jump start in the game allowing her to build multiple playable decks of every color & kind!!! This made her very happy, which made me very happy!!!

Underwhelmed
Unfortunately, this box was trash. Not very many commanders, not many great dupes. In this particular box, I had dupes of 50-100+ copies. The 50 copies, sure. I get it. But to have more than double that is insane. Iโd rather have 1k cards that are cheap fillers for my decks than less than half that being generally usable and the other half either banned from most formats or useless amounts of copies I canโt even sell. TLDR: save your money for a prerelease or bundle box. Or just build your collection over time. Not that great for beginner collectors either. Great condition - total of 1133 cards - recommend for people looking for filler cards!
A lot of cards for a cheap cost, good variety in colour, mostly commons but otherwise very good! Cards came in great condition, with only one suffering a small nick. Dupes range from 2-5 per card, with the highest uncommon amount being in the 10-15 range. Lots of tokens with lots of dupes. Mostly commons with a few uncommon sprinkled in for flavorโจ๏ธ Likes- good colour/set variety, great condition, more land than I expected Dislikes- a lot of filler/ informational cards were thrown in, more than I would have liked (See 3rd photo), some cards have a lot of dupes, other than that not much to dislike. I got what I paid for! Large collection of varied cards
I'm pleased with how many different cards I got, some older, some relatively new. All in great near mint condition. Some cards have too many duplicates (10-20 copies of a few) but overall lots of cards have between 2-4 copies each. Decent spread of colors, though I would have liked to see a bit more multicolored. Also a few bonus non basic lands which is nice. Great for building up a collection of cards to fill out many different possible decks c

Very few Duplicates.
I have ordered 2x of these Bulk packs, Both packs have included very few duplicates. Have used them to so far make 3x Commander decks with plenty left over.
