Is this paddle weatherproof?

I'm not sure if it is completely weatherproof but my paddle had got wet before and once I dried it off it is still good.

Can someone please tell me the weight of this paddle. Thank You for your time...

The few times I have used them, I haven't noticed a significant enough difference. In the spirit of full disclosure, none of us are professionals in our family so if weight is critical, I would contact the manufacturer. Since our table is outside, it was more important to us that the paddles withstand the humid Florida weather and they seem to be doing well so far.

Is there a slightly better version of this racket? (maybe little thicker) Thanks!
