Angled Shower Rod Mount For Sloped Walls - Low Cost Solution

Needed this for a horribly angled shower in a rental. I could not find anything like it at the Home Depot or Lowes. I was a little skeptical if it would work or not, and it didn't have very many reviews. But this was PERFECT for our very vaulted and angled shower situation (it was in a converted attic). This was such a lifesaver we went ahead and left it after we moved out of the rental for the next renters to utilize as it's so unique. Great quality, easy to install, and exactly what we needed! This item was exactly what we needed for our slopes shower wall. We also purchased the InterDesign Forma shower rod in Brushed Stainless. I spray painted this item to match the brushed stainless look. See photo. It worked well. Not a perfect result as this is a plastic part, and those don't paint well, but it did the job. Quite pleased. We mounted it into the grout line for ease. It's much harder drilling directly into the tile.

Product was exactly what I wanted. It worked great to install a curtain rod on an angled wall. I pair it with a cheap curtain rod from Target that was 1 inch diameter. Easy to mount. Feels very secure.

Works great. was exactly what I exspected. But $27 is way too high for something that prob cost only a few cents to make! looks like something u could get from dollwr store..

I thought because of the price for this item, I was getting a pair to actually hang a curtain rod, but I got 1 and now will have to wait till I win the lottery to buy the second on, PUN intended because I will need to have paid all my bills and then if I have enough left over I can buy the other one. So expensive when there were others prices better, SO DUMB!!

The mount looks nice, though doesn't come with a mount for the other side (which is silly). I went to Lowe's and got a white shower rod with associated wall mounts that looked *similar* (since you can't find a perfect match). The problem was that unless the end of the shower rod is slightly beveled, it won't fit into this wall mount. I had to buy another shower rod that fit in and match it with the mount from the first rod I bought. You could just buy two of this product and one white shower rod (that hopefully fits), but while this would make the mounts match, I think it would look funny unless both of your walls are sloped.

We have a shower with a 45-degree angled ceiling on one side of it, so this mount appeared to be exactly what we needed to mount our shower rod. Unfortunately this did not fit a standard 1" shower rod - the inside diameter of the mount appeared to be ever so slightly smaller than the rod. So, I ended up having to do a bit of grinding on the shower rod, and heated it up, and when it was hot I could force the plastic mount onto it. It was a bit of work but the end result was nice.

Really great product, does exactly what it says it is supposed to do. Great for unique problems such as angled ceilings in your shower. I highly recommend that you get a better drywall anchor for it thought as the one that comes with it is pretty weak for the weight of the product along with the curtain rod.
