BE Pressure 4000 PSI Whirl-A-Way Surface Cleaner Size: 20"

I have a 15' x 50' paver block patio and walkway that requires powerwashing once a year to keep mold, mildew, moss and staining at bay. Cleaning that many paver blocks with a powerwasher wand and 10 dgree nozzle spray tip, while effective, takes many, many hours. My Karcher powerwasher generates 2400PSI. I was concerned that it would not be sufficient to operate this surface cleaner. My fears were unfounded. The unit works perfectly at this pressure, even though it is designed for up to 4000 PSI. At the higher 4000 PSI pressure, I coud see the unit rising off the surface because of the downward force, but at 2400, the weight of the head keeps it nicely on the surface and it moves easily from side to side. As other reviewers have stated, the unit needs to be moved slowly to get the most effective cleaning action. There are several plusses to this sweeper: 1) It keeps the water spray contained within the housing so you and surrounding areas (i.e., walls & buildings) are not plastered with reflecting detritus. 2) Saves time and water - all of the water spray is being directed toward cleaning and a 20" swatch is cleaned with each pass. Once you get the right movement rhythm, it is possible to make a single pass over a 20" swath. 3) The handle is long which means you save your back by not having to lean over as you work. 4) The dual handle make for a comfortable working position as you no longer need to keep switching hands as with a powerwasher wand. I observed a couple of minor weaknesses: 1) There is no detent to hold the handle in a vertical position. When you put the handle down, it must be placed against a vertical surface or on the ground. 2) A stream of water is constantly running from under the head in all directions. This makes it more difficult to direct the dirty water in a single direction, like forward and away from the cleaned area. 3) The center shaft has a bearing with grease nipple and requires periodic replenishing with a grease gun. If you have large areas to clean, this unit is a real time saver and worth the investment cost.

Works great. Comes with 2020 nozzles which are for 4 gpm pressure washers. Changed them out to 2025 for my 5gpm machine.

I’m using this as a homeowner cleaning a barrel tile roof and paver driveway with a 4200psi 4gpm pressure washer. I purchased this version without wheels to allow for the cleaning of mold off of the highly irregular surface of a barrel tile roof. It moved very easily over the irregular surface and did a good job of cleaning moderate levels of mold. However on heavily molded areas it would clean off the mold but only after too many repeated passes, in which case it became more time effective to use a wand. On the paver driveway it moved across the surface as easily as if it were on wheels. It cleaned very well and prevented the sand between the pavers from blowing out all over the place. It’s made very well and the angled handles were very comfortable to use for long periods of time. I feel you would have to use at least a 4000psi 4gpm+ pressure washer to make this unit effective without having to go over and over the same area in many cases. This is not a knock on the unit, it performs very well. I’m making the assumption it is on the large size for a homeowner surface cleaner and most users with smaller pressure washers would likely need to use a smaller size surface cleaner.

Great product. really helps speed up power washing particularly with my tennis court. Very easy to use and set up. Only one issue was that it required a part that was not included to attach to my Kubota power washer, so make sure you have the right part. I was able to get one from my Kubota dealer easily enough and now I'm in business. Really speeds up the cleaning and does a good job of cleaning the tennis court and all other pavement areas. While its not cheap, its definitely worth the value as it speeds up the work and the quality of the power washing.

First off I have a 3500 psi machine Honda motor and cat 4 gpm pump. You need water flow gallons per minute (GPM) not necessarily pressure. Your 3200 psi machine with 2.3 gpm will not make this thing work you don't have the water volume needed. The review. The trigger on the handle is cheesy it's loose. I keep spare hose clamps for when it breaks on the middle of my job I can get thru the job. It has a male connector so had to buy a female QD. It works good very happy. Just upon start up had a bad vibration and nasty zebra stripes in my first 5 feet. Shut off unit and pulled the nozzles they had small metal pieces from manufacturing clogging one of the nozzles. Cleaned everything out and lubes up swivel and have done close to 10,000 sq ft of walkways in the last week. As long as the swivel holds up I will buy this product again in the future when I need to replace it.

Awesome seller, and surface cleaner.... Been missing one of these VERY BAD, every time I pressure cleaned, since I sold my pressure cleaning buisness nearly 20+ years ago getting rid of all my good commercial equipment ... I'm now using this paired with a semi-commercial Honda 13HP GFX engine powered Dewalt 4200 psi/ 4.2 GPM unit with a AAA pump, which more than runs it without bogging, aside when the surface cleaner is all but submerged on a driveway section where water pools deep and dissipates slow... There's just no substitute for these on flat surfaces.... Everything comes out nice and even (at a much faster pace) which is nearly impossible on many of the flat surfaces with just using a wand(even equipped with a good turbo ocilating head on it).. Your regular wand (for flat surfaces anyway) will mostly be in use for the final finish-wash, and loose dirt cleanup left by the surface cleaner(almost just using it as a garden hose for a final clean up) Anyway, money well spent...

Great product I have bought 4 over the past 5years. If u baby them they will last for ever, but spring summer and fall we use it literally everyday all day putting it thru the test making us $100k yr plus.

I have a Honda 3600 psi 2.6 gpm. It's just not enough for this unit. Good quality though and looks good
