Any suggestions?** A: Put a little WD40 on the shaft before you put it back in the slot. Vaseline works also. **Q: What kind of wood can be milled with these bits?** A: I don’t know. Whatever wood I have that needs milling. I was not expecting it to be a top-tier product, but for $40, I'll certainly be getting my money's worth. Since it's a "value priced" set, I always clean my bits after using them, which is very easy and only takes a few minutes. To clean bits and blades I just use a 50/50 mix of water and liquid laundry detergent (like Tide or Purex) and let them soak for about 3-5 minutes then brush with an old toothbrush.
