This have fiberglass in it ? The last stuff i used left and embedded fiberglass on my truck and now whenever you touch it you get ichy slivers

No none of them have fiberglass. Your truck is glass fiber reinforced plastic the sun wears the plastic away and you get the fiberglass in your arm use a bristled brush when you wash the trim

How many kits would i need for and avalanche with cladding and bed cover?

I did my Avalanche w cladding and it took 2 full kits. The bed covers came out blotchy (they were pretty faded) and now I'm buying a 3rd kit to re-do them. Takes 5-6 wipes just for the bed covers.

Does it work on running boards?

If the running boards are plastic, Cerakote Trim Coat should coat great. Make sure to clean the running boards with Blue Dawn dish soap and a little brush. Also, make sure the running boards are extremely dry before applying the Trim coat for the best application.

would ths work on a faded high-density polyethylene plastic kayak?

CERAKOTE Trim Coat would work fine with the same color rejuvenation expectations as faded plastic trim.
