Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six

This is a pretty good game on N64. Lets you play the whole campaign coop which is awesome. Tactical elements are pretty good as well. I'm actually more impressed with how well this game looks and plays than anything. One of the few N64 games that uses the entire controller for gameplay with the D-pad being different from the C-buttons. It's not amazing though. Sometimes the friendly AI doesn't do as it's ordered, enemies sometimes notice you when they shouldn't, and at times they seem to be able to shoot you through walls. Hostages can also get stuck in some places. But it is a really good game for the N64, and I highly recommend it if you have a friend to play with.

This is probably the very first Rainbow Six game ever made. The graphics are quite good for the Nintendo 64. Those fo you who have played a Rainbow Six game before should already know what you're in for in this game. There are two ways to beat the levels in this game: you either eliminate all terrorists in the level OR you rescue the hostages and take them back to your starting point. You have the option of setting up your team mates to have extra ammo clips for your primary weapon and side arm. But you can also give them heartbeat sensors which I would HIGHLY recommend otherwise you won't be able to see where enemies are in the levels.There is a level in this game called Deep Magic. This is one of those stealth missions so I would just use one guy on this level. It is difficult because if ANYONE sees you, it's game over. It can be a frustrating level but IT CAN BE DONE, you just have to practice patience and study the enemies' patrol patterns.This is a very good game to have , especially if you're a hardcore Nintendo fan as I am.

This is a great game! It's a lot better than the other versions of this game I played back in the day.The tactics in it are a lot of fun, and fairly true to life. Like many first person shooters of its time it offers three difficulties of each level.One down side for some, may be that it uses the "Turok" controls to move, instead of the joy stick moving the entire body, the C buttons move forward, back, and strafe left and right. The joy stick moves the head and also influences direction, but-- not the way it normally does.Graphics are good for an N64 game, render nicely. All in all I have NO complaints about this game!

This game is excellent for it's gaming era! I love the fact that you can 2 player co-op the entire campaign!It's a pretty challenging game because you can die quite easily if you pick the wrong characters, weapons, and team members...which makes it a classic Tim Clancy masterpiece! ;)Make sure to look up how to play online, it'll help a LOT! (Unless you just want to run-n-gun...it'll just take more tries at the level you're on.)

While the game is a PC port, the game is primarily in tact. The two-thumb method from Turok works really well. Love this game.

Perfect product. I have always loved the Rainbow Six game series. This was the first Rainbow Six I ever played as a child. This game is still fun today and brought back a lot of nostalgic memories of playing SNES as a kid.
