Fit like factory no leaks,but does not come with plug to block off extra O2 bung

Was installed on a 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ, with the 2.5ltr 4 cylinder. A good down pipe, cheap too. Only issue was it was about 1 foot shorter than the original. I had to take it to a muffler shop for them to weld the pipe to the muffler so a 1 foot pipe was added there . Installation was a direct fit to manifold.

Perfect and exact replacement. The routing for this pipe is very unforgiving, and there's no room for error. This pipe had the exact bends, and fits perfectly.

The Walker 53479 Front Exhaust Pipe is a perfect fit for my 95 Jeep YJ 4-cylinder. I was concerned initially because it does not look like the picture on the Amazon website it has crinkles where the bends are and not smooth. I won't be racing with my 26 year old YJ so high full throttle performance is not that important, even if I loose a horsepower or two. Another difference is the hanger is welded on the top versus bottom, which may be a good thing since water tends to collect on the bottom and that is where my old one failed. I inspected it carefully and all the welds were clean and did not burn thru. I took one star off for the crinkled bends but otherwise it fit perfectly like OEM. Also removing the old front pipe from the manifold flange was easy. One bolt snapped during take off, even after soaking with PB blaster for 24 hours. No problem- soaked both ends of the broken manifold flange bolt for a day and the next day heated with the blue bottle propane torch for a couple of minutes, re-soaked with PB blaster, repeated 2 times while hitting with a shorty 4" hammer and on the third time, just popped out without hitting hard. The bolts are pressed in-fit like a wheel stud. I replaced with a 2" Stainless 3/8-16 thread bolt and nut. I pre-installed the O2 and catalyst and it all slid into place and fit easily, without lifting the car, just had the passenger side wheels on the curb working on the street.

Great quality, fit perfect, even in the factory hangars. Solid welds on the mounting bar. Good flared end that fit snugly over the tapered exhaust manifold end with no leaks.

Complete junk! Has crinkles all over it, bends aren’t right so it doesn’t line up like it’s supposed to at the header and leaks. Also hangs down a lot lower then an oem one. Waste of money
