It worked well for supporting the plants. I was afraid it would be a huge tangle of strings, but actually it didn't get tangled as I unfolded it and looped it over the top of the fence slats to support it. I'm only going to use it once, but after a season, it looks like I could use it again if I wanted to take the time to carefully remove the now dead plants. I bought some more and strung it up at my community garden plot to hold melons, squash and beans and it worked well there too. I supported it with three 8-foot 1x2 boards into which I drilled a hole near the top. I buried the boards (now poles) about a foot deep in the ground, then staked a 1/4 nylon rope on one side, ran the rope through the holes at the top, hanging the net from it as I went, then staked the rope on the other end. For the beans, I also stuck some bamboo bean poles into the ground and connected them to the net at the top. It sagged a bit from the weight of the melons and squashes, but it stayed up for the whole season and I had a nice harvest. I recommend this for a quick, cheap trellis when you don't want to set up something more permanent. Review: Great for building the ‘Square Foot Gardening’ trellis design! - I used this netting to build the trellis described in ‘Square Foot Gardening’, and it worked perfectly!. My husband built the frame from 1/2” EMT conduit, and laid it down flat. Then I took this netting and tied it over the pipe and then back to itself, using super glue on the knots to keep them from coming loose. (I’m sure full instructions can be found online.) Next year I will add another trellis! We mostly grew sweet potato and cucumbers on the trellis. I looked all over for a nylon netting to make the Square Foot Gardening’ trellis. This package has enough netting to use fresh trellising every year for the next 5 years or so. Super great deal! ## Features - Reusable and Versatile: Made of pliable, braided, and heavy-duty polyester, this netting can be used for vertical gardening, horizontal gardening, and A-Frame trellises; It’s long-lasting, reusable, and will support your plants’ growth; You can easily fold it up and store it away after you’re done using it - Easy to Install and Adjust: This trellis netting comes in a size of 5 x 15 ft., and you can easily cut it to the size you desire; Simply wrap and tie the netting around any stable structure or support—there’s no need to worry about it unraveling - Save Space: You can direct the growth of your plants and maximize your space by weaving the netting around poles or other structures; When you pull the netting until it’s taut, the sturdy trellis will carry the weight of your plant - Large Square Mesh: Each mesh square is 6” x 6”, which leaves enough space to prune plants and pick plants through the trellis; If you cut parts of the netting to fit your garden, you can save the leftover part for another plant - Strong Support: This durable trellis netting can support the weight of flowers, fruits, and vegetables such as cucumbers, blackberry, peas, cantaloupes, tomatoes, and other vining plants ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00P7RUI3U | | Best Sellers Rank | #4,012 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ( See Top 100 in Patio, Lawn & Garden ) #14 in Garden Netting | | Brand | VIVOSUN | | Brand Name | VIVOSUN | | Color | White | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 13,310 Reviews | | Finish Type | Unfinished | | Item Type Name | e3999 | | Manufacturer | VIVOSUN | | Manufacturer Part Number | FBA_3307 | | Material | Polyester | | Material Type | Polyester | | Model Number | FBA_3307 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Style | Minimalist | | Shape | Square | | Size | 5'x15' - 6''square mesh | | Style | Minimalist | | UPC | 706551610766 | | Unit Count | 75 Square Feet | ## Product Details - **Brand:** VIVOSUN - **Color:** White - **Finish Type:** Unfinished - **Material:** Polyester - **Style:** Minimalist ## Images ![Heavy-duty Polyester Plant Trellis Netting 5 x 15ft, 1 Pack - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/714X4ks2iyL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Item Package Quantity** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nothing fancy, but it did the job *by D***S on November 21, 2021* I wanted to try planting melons and cucumbers against a south-facing fence in my back yard.
