Very durable in 10 day high wind torture test
The materials used to make this Pop Up Canopy are of quality. Set up is easy, they even have directions sewn on to the rolling carry case. The case itself seems durable, good quality zipper and rollers. setup and take down is quick. During setup it is important to stake the legs before placing the sand bags. Here in the High Desert we get strong winds. I used the sandbags filled with 12 lbs. June 9th thru June 19th we had winds continuously blowing at 30 mph with gusts up to 45mph. On June 11th I decided to add the medal stakes provided because this canopy was getting a workout. I accidentally struck the sandbag with a rubber hammer and it ripped easily. No worries duct tape inside and out repaired it for the duration of this test. The canopy stood up to this "ten day wind torture test " After completing this test I inspected the structure, attachment point for the Velcro to the canopy and all the nuts and bolts. I found only 1 nut had become undone do to the continuous pounding of the high winds over the 10 days. Repair was simple I put the nut back on with a added drop of Blue Lock Tight. No rips in the canopy and the frame flexed enough so it did not fail or warp. I would purchase this brand again.

If I can set this up alone, you can!
Note: my photo shows the canopy set up at the lower height, first leg extension. I am in my 70s and do craft shows. I needed a canopy that I could manage and set up by myself. I purchased the 8’x8’ Eagle Peak Beige color. First, let me say the beige color is NOT tan colored, it is more on the gold spectrum, but I am satisfied with the color. I just wish they had a brown canopy. This weighs close to 30 pounds but is manageable for 1 person. I followed the directions, but found this way easy for me: 1. spread out the metal frame to about a 5-6’ square, do not extend the legs. Take the canopy, find the center (where the wind flap is) and square up the canopy on the frame. 2. Make sure the corners are squared over the corners of the metal frame. Secure the velcro canopy corners to the velcro on the metal frame. 3. Now spread out the frame as wide as possible. 4. extend the legs 1 segment. This will get it up to about 6 feet. Note: If doing this alone, extend legs 1 and 2. Then when extending leg 3, hold the frame steady while moving over to leg 4 and extend . 5. Now that you can walk under the canopy, secure the velcro to the frame on the underside of the canopy. There should be 7 or 8 places Mine had 7, but it seems like it should have 8 velcro areas. 6. Now, I am 5’9”, so I can stand in the middle and push up on the round knob and the canopy locks into place. Note: At the 1 leg extension height, I can walk under it so the clearance is about 5’8” but with the center popped up, it is about 8’ under the canopy. This height gives you the most sun coverage. 7. If you want a higher canopy, you can now raise the legs to the next height, which clearance is about 7- 8’ to walk under and about 9-10’ in the center under the canopy. To take down the canopy, I lower the legs to the first extension, reach up and counterclockwise turn the center knob and the canopy releases easily. Then I pull the canopy inward to about a 5-6’ square and lower the legs. Remember, if you are doing this alone, after lowering legs 1 and 2, you need to support legs 3 and 4 so it does not tip over. I give this a 4 Star rating because 1. it is easy to set up and break down, 2. I have 2 heights to choose from, 3. it fits (very tight) back into its carrying case with the canopy on, and 4. it has a wind flap to allow hot air to escape and prevents the canopy from becoming a sail, and 5. my favorite this about this canopy is the tabs to extend the legs area easy to operate and will not pinch your fingers and the center pop up mechanism is a Godsend for single person set up. The canopy unit comes with ropes and stakes for tie down, but if using them, i would opt for sand filled milk jugs and not the stake. Sand bags are NOT included. I have the 7.5 lb disks for weights that fit over the feet of the canopy legs. I use 2 disks per leg to secure my canopy on hard surfaces giving me 60 lbs of stability weight. Things Eagle Peak needs to improve are the colors, offer sand bags with the ropes/stakes, and add a mid height leg extension before the first leg extension so it is easier to set up by 1 person. All and all, I am pleased with my purchase. The value is worth the price.

One of the best for the money
This is the second Eagle Ridge canopy we've had. We had a two-year-old frame for which the original canopy was destroyed. We found an Eagle Ridge canopy to fit the frame we had, and together they lasted another two years -- until recently when I didn't have time to take it down before a gale-force wind and rain storm hit, and it was destroyed. Before that it had held up in some very strong winds, but this was just too much (80 mph gusts). The frame was literally on its lasts legs (it had lost hardware and I had to improvise on that). So the frame twisted and collapsed, and punctured and ripped the canopy. No canopy can withstand that kind of treatment. I really liked the quality of the Eagle Ridge canopy we had, and how snugly and well it attaches to a frame (excellent system of strategically placed velcro closures), so I ordered a new canopy and frame together. I put it up yesterday (it's the beginning of September as I write), since we'll still get a couple of months use out of it before cold weather forces us inside. The frame is sturdy (straight-leg version) and well-designed. The canopy has a roof vent (very helpful in moderate to even strong winds), and comes with strong nylon cords attachable to the corners to help anchor it. We also use 16-pound water bags attached to each leg. Between those and the cords, the canopy is anchored quite well. We use it on our cement patio, over our outdoor dining table, with the cords anchored in the grass around it. An important aside: We've found that water bags work much better than sand bags: they're heavier than most sandbags, therefore give more stability; and FAR easier to fill. And you can just drain them and put them away for the winter, and not have to drag heavy bags still filled with sand to wherever you're going to store them.

Easy setup, vented top, drain holes
Have used the 10x10 Canopy for 2 summers at outdoor events, starting on 3rd summer. Very happy with it. Bag is short enough to fit in my car. It has drain holes in the top so water doesn't pool. That does mean that some rain water will drip inside the covered area, but not a big deal for me. Vented top. Straight legs with easy height adjustment (not the horrible finger-biting style). Center button push to connect. Straight forward for one person to set up. I got the white canopy to try to reflect as much sun as possible.

Easy to store/set-up; quality not quite there
Used on three occasions to provide coverage from sun for a car, the black articulating cover for two internal braces snapped off and metal arms dangled with raw metal edges that cut through the fabric - causing a huge long tear. Caught it almost collapsing in time for entire middle piece to hit the top of car and front windshield to cause a break/crack in glass! Wished it would have held up and wanted to really love this size and easy store/set-up of a tent, but the quality is just not there.

Perfect for any garden
This canopy is relatively easy to put up. It took 2 of us as I didn’t know at the beginning what I was doing. The top canvas secured to the pop up frame and there are vents on all 4 sides and at the top. If it gets windy the air has somewhere to escape. I have filled the weight bags with small gravel stones to get a good weight strapped to the frame legs..we had some windy weather but it didn’t move an inch. I have even managed to dry some washing under it on a rainy day. I bought the blue canvas and it looks beautiful. The canvas is well made , rain does not get through, and the frame is sturdy. I can’t fault it! I can strongly recommend this canopy..

Held up well in an epic storm.
Fantastic canopy for farmers market stand! Easy set-up for one person, tall enough for tall customers, and vents hot air on sunny days. Was water resistant during a terrible storm where we were pelted with hail and driving rain for 45 minutes and kept us (mostly) dry!!! Definitely recommend.
