Quality, Sturdy Aluminumn tree tags.
Good quality aluminum plant tags, similar to the original. In the past, I've used another brand aluminum tag, but the quality was not as good or sturdy. The cheap ones are rathersoft/flexible and don't hold up long term. Easy to write on. This one is more like a long term permanent tag, so that you can keep track of your tree varieties.

perfect : long lasting, practical and professional...
easy to use, reasonably priced and long lasting. i have been using these labels for over 10 years and keep reordering every couple of years a couple. more boxes. i find them better than most labels and i have researched, used and reviewed many. I am avid gardener and plant collector and like to know the names of my rosebushes collections, or Japanese Maples or various plants i buy over the years. i find that i either attach them to a stem when a tree is youn=g or branches subsequently as the plant matures over the years. for perennials such as Dahlias or peon ies, i use them with a bamboo stake put in the ground next to the plant... just writing with a pencil or even an old ballpoint with or without ink is immaterial as you pressure write. i use both sides to write information such as latin name, and reverse for nursery and year purchased, for example. Years later when i come across a label that is too low or the stem has grown more, i just unfurl the wire and refasten around a smaller branch. i have labels that are easily 5+years old and still perfectly readable... the plus is having labels at eye level on tall shrubs and trees, roses that are easily identifiable etc... and when you weed, a rake mulches you do not erroneously pull up the stake into the ground labels as these are fastened around the main part of a stem or large branch...

Quality product, but not for me
While it is a quality product, it did not work out for me.Currently, I use thermal printed labels and place them on acrylic tags for tagging my plants. This works well for me. The labels strongly adhere to the acrylic and the acrylic tags are stiff and strong. But the acrylic tags are expensive. So, I went looking for a less expensive tag. I purchased these aluminum tags. I tried both styles of tape (black on clear, black on white). While the tape does adhere to the aluminum tag, it is not a strong bond and is easily removed. Therefore, I donโt think thermal tape on aluminum tags will hold up to year round, outdoor weather. I gave it five stars because for its original intent, it works great. So why donโt I just had engrave my text directly onto the tag? As you can see in the two photos, my text consists of more than the common name of the plant.

Thick. Good.
Well made. Thicker than other brand I bought. Impresses well with a regular pen.

Perfect for labeling my roses
Iโve gone a little crazy in my garden over the past two years and added over 300 roses/shrubs. Since I like to know what varieties Iโve planted, I needed a way to quickly and easily identify my plants. The plastic tags fade within weeks, and wooden ones deteriorate. I didnโt want to spend a small fortune having metal tags custom engraved, so these fit the bill. Theyโre easy to write on with a dull pencil or ballpoint pen, and they look attractive attached to a metal plant stake. So far, theyโve lasted a couple of seasons already, so Iโm happy with them and plan to keep ordering more as needed.

Best plant label available at a reasonable price.
These are the best alternative for plant labels. Wish they cam with stakes for ground plant labels. The wire holes are small, so you cannot use traditional sized stakes to put them in the ground. Have jerry-rigged a decorative stake to insert labels into the ground next to plants. All the other garden plant labels rubbed off owing to weather and general outdoor conditions. I had no idea what was what and ended up pulling a good number of plants that I wasn't sure were weeds or seedlings. These are impressed, so that the name does not rub off. Will let you know how they do, next summer.

Embossable metal tags
The tags are a perfect size, lightweight aluminum and double sided, shipped quickly included with wires to easily attach to our saplings. They appear to be weatherproof. I also ordered a brass stamp from Etsy with a logo and Latin name of the trees we are growing. It's the type of stamp often used to emboss leather. To emboss the tag, I place it on a solid surface, position the stamper on the tag and tap it twice with a small hammer. On the opposite side of the tag, we can then write the date and other information using a pen to emboss it.

Incredibly useful for gardening and orcharding!!
As a gardener and orchardist, these are absolutely outstanding. My plastic plant tags always had issues with the permanent marker wearing off and then I couldn't tell what the tag said. This actually lets you engrave whatever you want to write into soft the metal with a pencil. It's also got a wood layer inside the tag sandwich for increased durability. This is what I've been looking for, for years, but didn't know existed. I hope this product gets a lot more traction. I can't say enough good about them. BUY THEM NOW!

Ordered 100, received 50
Ordered 100 labels, received 50. No option to return the product since I needed the labels right away. Will consider other retail sources in the future.

Perfect labels
Bought these for labelling trees and plants in my garden. You can write on the labels with a biro pen and it looks as though it has been professionally stamped. There are some wires for attaching the label to the plants. Looks very professional when done.
