I originally ordered one of these and was happy with the item, so then I ordered a further 5 which arrived promptly. I ordered them as end of term gifts as we had been studying plastics pollution and they were much appreciated. I have since tried to order several more for a youth group gift and am unable to as the price and P&P set-up has changed dramatically which I am a bit disappointed about. Having said that I have ordered a similar item from another site, two of, but one arrived without the cleaning brush, whereas these were all complete! Just wish I could have ordered the amount required for a follow-up order.

Very quirky

Straight in the bin. Came as a freebie for purchasing something else. This was sharp in some places. Definitely not something I would want my children to drink from or play with

It is great as it does not fall apart like most paper ones but too hard for me.

Great straw. Comes in a handy case so you can take it with you and a small brush to clean. Very easy to put together. In two parts which screw together and then you can twist to extend it to the length you want. I have a brace so it sometimes makes drinking cold drinks difficult with the sensitivity. The new paper straws go soggy after a while so was looking for a reusable one I could take with me. This is ideal. Easy to clean too.

I bought this for my dad who has Parkinson's. He uses a straw to drink with due to constant shaking and was delighted with this. He said the whole thing fits in a pocket very easily and is very useful for when he is out and about.
